What about making
crossover
mansions?

I imagine it as a variation on the following theme: Two architects get together (virtually, most probably). Each of them designs half a mansion and gives it to the other to finish. Half a mansion would not mean half of the rooms but (roughly) all rooms but half filled

For a fine example in Comic strips, see http://www.geluck.com/curiosites.htm and click
De Geluck a Schuiten
8-) (but all texts are in French ).

One other great improvement for the new editor (high on my wishlist):

It'd be great if the editor, like the game, had a sort of monitor preferences you can set as you wish. Then I wouldn't have to set the monitor manually on another resolution every time I work with the editor.

It could be just like the game: When you open the editor for the first time you're asked in which monitor resolution you like to work etc.

Is that possible ??
Forummembers who are often on line will have seen that the total number of our members sometimes is going up and down. Like a yoyo. That is not because new members suddenly change their mind and ask to be removed.

But day after day we see that new
members
are P&P-spammers. And although they can't spam :, we consequently remove them. 8-)
It would be really useful to be able to play MM in a window. Or, at the very least, to be able to command-tab away from it. The game has the ability to display the high score list in a window, so at least some support for this must be in there already.

Here's an example of how it might be useful: I'm playing MM and want to continue, but I hear Mail make the email sound and I want to check it right now. But I can't unless I suspend, quit, relaunch, resume. Annoying.

Another example: as I was taking screenshots for my map of Freddy's Electric Maze, I realized that they would just be numbered, and I didn't really remember which was which. If I could have just switched away, I could have named them as I went.

Anyway, do I really need to explain why this would be useful? Thanks for listening.
The electric maze is a cool idea and all, but the nature of the zapper beams makes the map entirely useless. For me, this meant the maze was all but impossible to solve, and I put the mansion aside in frustration for several weeks. >

Well, I couldn't just sit by and not work through this monstrosity at least once. It's kind of like a badge of honor, right? So, if Freddy was determined to take my map from me, well then I'd just have to make one for myself. And now, map in hand, the maze is quite easy, as the green bricks would suggest it ought to be. Eat your heart out, Freddy. 8-)

Anyway, now that I'm past that maze, the map is now sitting quite useless on my HD. That's why I'm sharing it with you!

The file is a high-resolution PNG that should print just right on a landscape-oriented 8.5x11 sheet of paper. Don't print it from Photoshop, as it insists on an unnecessarily large bottom margin that may cause some clipping on the sides. I recommend you print it, since it would be quite useless otherwise.

To save ink, I've also removed the black background from the map. A version without this feature (for easier onscreen viewing) is attached to the following post.

Note: THIS MAP IS PROBABLY A SPOILER, even though the biggest secret of the maze is absent because I thought the map was already wide enough. You've been warned.
To those using Rezilla for the Brown blackboards (how can a BLACKboard be brown?): Do you let the program choose unique ressource ID's for you or can you choose them yourself (might be a better way when handling a lot of BBB's)?
Room #17100. If you go down to the snake pit trying to reach the lever for the gray door (which I now know is not the right way) and killing the snakes (and a few Jacks) you are stuck in that pit.
The adding of fake posts like in earlier days isn't needed anymore.

When you receive a message from a Newbie including a clear MM-issue, you can promote him/her now immediately to Lost One.

1° Click (anywhere) on that Newbie's name to get the profile-window.
2° In the right upper corner, click on Modify.
3° Enter YOUR password.
4° Click at the right on Admin Edits.
5° Change the number of posts from 0 into 1.
6° Confirm with clicking on Change Profile.

When finished, you only need to send a message back that the promotion is a fact and that he/she is able to make post(s) on the boards.
