I sort of vaguely remember designing the purple door room so you were likely to save right before you go through the corridor of red doors. There's four purple doors and four red doors, so if you know which areas to do first, you end up saving at the right time. But obviously there's a lot of choice in when you use the save pedestals (which is something I really like about the handful of mansions that let you do that. Like Spider Palace.).

Okay, I couldn't find the thread where someone requested this, but the New/Open Room dialogs have been combined into a single Open Room... menu item. Click on a non-existant location to do New room, and click on an existing location to do Open Room, all from within the same dialog.<br />

I'll probably try to get an update out sometime next week. It won't have a lot of the very recent things that have come up (Freddy sent me a list of like 8 items), but it'll contain everything I've said is in the new editor.

I've seen this come up in several mansions, but, since I'm currently playing MM&M, I'll use an example from there. It's in room 17115.<br />
<br />
If Jack climbs all the steps and jumps down from the tallest one, he goes SPLAT when he lands on the area where the scorpion is playing. But if he jumps over the tallest step from the second tallest one, he lands on his feet!<br />
<br />
Since I've seen this 'trick' used in at least one other mansion besides MM&M where (like in this room) I couldn't go on unless I made this gravity-defying jump, I'm guessing this isn't a game bug.<br />
<br />
So, my question is, how come this works and how do I duplicate it???<br />
