Jack can walk from room 15509 to room 15508 from the room on the right but not back. At this point he already has 2 blue keys! He hasn't a green key and gets stuck! I can see the thought behind this, but as long as Jack can jump up on the ledge on the left when coming up the ladder to room 15509 this will be a potential JS.<br />

15706 Jack opens the left grey door with lever to the right. No sound. This lever can close the door again and now there is sound both at closing and at following openings of the door. I found that in another mansion too, probably Great Escape Easy. It seems that the door sound problem is connected to the first opening. Other doors I have reported on they couldn't be closed again as in Tomb of Princes.<br />

After some quick testing, I'm pretty sure that the sprites for the medusa heads are mixed up:<br />

Normally, if I have my facts straight, Arthur is the dozy-looking, lighter green head, who will not reappear after dying (like all other mansion monsters). Elizabeth is the grinning, darker-green, reappearing head. <br />
<br />
However, as it stands, I've killed several 'Elizabeths' and 'Arthurs' in the game. The 'Arthurs' came back. The 'Elizabeths' did not. Given that the grinning, darker-green Elizabeth head is next to 'Arthur' on the instruction page, I can only conclude the two medusa heads' graphics are mixed up.

I was playing the game in Knight Mansion Normal. During an extremely confusing section regarding gold and silver walls, Mac OS X forced the game out of fullscreen to display to me the 'Extremely Low Battery' dialog box. <br />
Unfortunately, it seems the game really doesn't like being forced out of fullscreen. The game menus didn't appear (except for a 'File' menu which I couldn't get to), the game window didn't appear, and the app threw the spinning beach ball and crashed in short order.<br />

I'm running the game on a PowerBook G4 (PPC), OS X 10.5.8.<br />

If you have a non-U.S. keyboard, can you please go into the key controls dialog (click Options on the title screen), type every single key on your keyboard one-by-one, and see what character shows up in-game? If you don't get the correct character, please report the character you typed (what *should* have shown up.)<br />

A few things. It seems that once I completed Hint House, the main menu music wouldn't play when I went back (path followed was success screen => high scores => main menu).<br />

Also, two suggestions for the map showing all the mansions:<br />

1. Hint House didn't seem to fill in (in color) when it was finished— it only displayed that red circle. I'm not sure if the other mansions do, but it would be a nice touch. <br />

2. It would be nice to be able to change the difficulty directly from the map screen...

I just downloaded Beta 4 from the site earlier today. After launching it in windowed mode (it was mostly smooth, despite a 75-tab Firefox session running in the background), I started a new Easy game and headed for Hint House. After clicking to load the place, I immediately tasked out (Cmd+Tab) and continued to check the web page I was reading.<br />

When I tasked back, the opening fade-in had not completed, but the pause box had come up and could be very dimly seen. The game was effectively stuck— the pause box couldn't be clicked because the game wouldn't accept any input until the (paused) opening fade was over; a classic Catch-22. I had to close the window, thus quitting the game, to get out of it.<br />

Now that everything's in folders, I can't figure out how to open a mansion. I wanted to check the number of secrets in Tomb of Princes Easy (also Normal and Hard). I consistently get 83% secrets in Easy and I've tried everything. There were one or two places which I thought should be secrets, but they didn't register.

In preparation of upgrading to Lion OS 10.7 I've checked all my apps using the System Profiler and I find that my <blockquote>Intel</blockquote> version of Midnight Mansion is listed as a PowerPC app. Is there an Intel version available?
