I just revamped the Download page for new users, who don't know how to download and install Mac software. I tried to keep it out-of-the-way for normal users, so it won't bug them or take too long for the page to load, but for users who need it, it's there:<br />

Here is version 1.0 of Jack and Jack.  It is not finished yet as there are possible stucks and deaths that can lead to loosing one of the twins - but sometimes it is possible to bring him back to life!<br />

Edit:  I've replaced version 1.0 with 2.0!  Added 3 rooms to demonstrate what happens if one of the twins climbs between rooms, and, well, you'll find out....<br />

Version 2.0 upgraded to 2.1.  Added a sign to help players to avoid cheap deaths.<br />
<br />
Added: This mansion is evolving fast.  Version 3.0 is now ready for download.  Added 3 more rooms to make one more demonstration involving ladders and made a minor change in the starting room to avoid cheap deaths when going to the exit room.<br />

Version 1.0.7 was just released. I've had a few bugs reported to me within the last few days that won't be in this particular update, but there are fixes that you've been waiting for a while that are included:<br />

- Fixed a bug where Jack would fall right through moving/falling platforms if they were close to the top of the screen, at just the right height. <br />
- Fixed a rare zapper-beam problem, where on rare occasion a zapper beam you had previously turned off would suddenly be on when you re-entered the room.<br />
- Changed editor's <blockquote>Reset ObjectIDs dialog box</blockquote> to not say that it resets them when quitting, because it doesn't.<br />
- Changed Falcon Manor Easy so that you don't need to complete both <blockquote>The Red Section</blockquote> and <blockquote>The Blue Section</blockquote> in order to beat it. Now you can do either one if you want.<br />
- Fixed Spider Palace Normal, room 17695, so you can now get the purple key without dying.

Thanks to <span style="color: #ff3300;">brell</span> who hipped me to Rezilla, I am currently experimenting w/ a few custom graphics.<br />
<br />
However, I have acountered the following problem:<br />
According to the new guidelines since version 1.0.6. I included the customised (replaced) resources in my mansion's resource map (as opposed to the 'Midnight Mansion Sprites' resource as was the case in earlier versions).<br />
While it worked fine with the first 2 customised resources, all the next ones I did never showed up in the game (or the editor). <br />
<br />
Has anyone else experienced this problem / behaviour ?<br />
(Of course, I have given the resources to be replaced the exact same resouce ID as their respective originals.)<br />

Any advice will be gratefully appreciated !!

I think that there is no reason for panic. But it is clear that some unserious persons became member for other reasons than MM. The <blockquote>good</blockquote> news is that it is manual work. So far. And that we, administrators, have less work to throw them out than they have to come in.<br />

Before the Britney Spears affair, I handled two of them myself. Yesterday afternoon and this afternoon there were already two posts at Talk with immediate links to +18 sites (in America probably +21 ---> don't know).<br />
<br />
We have very good software to stop those individuals. First of all I delete the post completely and as quick as possible. (There is no need to send PMs or emails since Brell, Suztours (later) and I several times a day check the boards.) The ... third step is removing that member from the list.<br />
<br />
But in between I ban that <blockquote>member</blockquote>. Once? No! Twice? No! Three times!! The software makes it possible in three ways to ban persons: with their name, with their email address and, most important, with the IP-address of their computer. So once someone is on our <blockquote>black list</blockquote> he needs in the first place an other computer to get in.<br />

There is probably a ... bug in this forumsoftware. I am not sure yet. But several times I got a 104 error code when trying to answer a PM.<br />
