I just uploaded a very minor update of Back to Square One. The only change is that in the map view the version is correctly put according to the guidelines from Freddy.

Hi all,
Happy New Year!
I am trying out the (new) mansion called
Three Way Mansion
Currently I am engaged in the
normal
route.
I am at panel 801 (dark!) and cannot seem to find a way to take the down arrow coins. I did find the secret room to the left, and got all the routes in room 801, but can't find a way at that arrow!
Advice cheerfully received.
Thank you,
I hope nobody is too hungover today. I wish us all peace, good health and happiness in 2007, and lots of time to build new mansions.
Yes. In my case there should be no problem, as for the music I plan to go along with
Discotheque...
I did write, play & produce it entirely on my own (in my studio). ...

In one word: marvellous. Looking forward to it! I mean hearing ... ;D

aquaMat wrote: ... I had started to build my first mansion in April 2006, called
Palace Of Gore
. The small version of it (Freddy proposed to call it
Small Palace Of Gore
) is finished since May, but I had upgraded it to the (bigger) 'Palace Of Gore' in the last couple of months. ...

@ aquaMat: Communication in the past must have been awful! In one way or another Psychotronic announced that a certain aquaMat had a new mansion ready, but I did NEVER receive it. Wingy however, got a new mansion (from moof222 I suppose) that he sent me and from then on things got mixed.

Conclusion NOW:
1° today I heard for the first time about a Palace of Gore (and I certainly never suggested to call it
small
since I still don't now the sizes before and after);
2° I suppose that the House of the Dead must be from moof222, but he isn't a forummember yet.

I send you my emailaddress with a PM, because I really like to testplay PoG !
Here's an interesting free game you might want to check out:

http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/15007

It's a bit of a Super Mario rip-off, with a penguin instead of an italian plumber. It gets a lot of things right, like nice graphics, parallax scrolling, a map screen, and a number of details from the mario games. But to me, it's the
little
things, like the exact mechanics of how the guy
feels
when he runs and jumps, that make me like/dislike a game, and I think those mechanics could use some improving. Oh, and a number of the levels are also VERY hard.

I've thought about the possibility of doing a Mario-type game sometime, although I'd want to make mine a bit more original in certain ways... some of the levels in Tux are almost exact copies of the original Mario. It would be a fun project at least. But I hope to use Torque, and right now Torque doesn't have, built-in, what I need for basic platformers, meaning I'd have to modify the core engine if I were to do a platformer in the near future, which I'd rather not do.
