My three new Mansions...
Posted by: Mikee - 10-09-2008, 12:38 AM - Forum: MM1 Talk (Mac only) - Replies (19)

I have got three new mansions that I had created before I had a brain bowl...

The names are:
Château de Medusa (another version) - 56 rooms
Temple of the Alps - 35 rooms
Volcanis Dungeon - 51 rooms

I need to beta-testing for these mansions. I still waiting for beta-testers, please answer in this topic! :Smile

PS:
I had made a new version of Mikee's Castle: I made more rooms and a little bit harder Smile

  My second custom mansion
Posted by: leo - 10-08-2008, 04:49 PM - Forum: MM1 Talk (Mac only) - Replies (5)

While Missy and Mikee are busy beta-testing
Palais Pompomrouge
(thanks!) I am working on my second custom mansion. This will be substantially smaller than Pompomrouge (approx. 100 rooms). It probably wont offer any breathtaking revelation as far as game-playing goes. I mostly did it because of the design. The mansion is called
Bubbles
for obvious reasons.

The aim of the game is to reach the big center bubble by traveling through all the other ones that surround it. There's some gold, some beasties, some shields and some deaths. Pretty much the usual. Difficulty will be medium, give or take a few.

I've got an MM habit.... one more new mansion
Posted by: aquaMat - 10-08-2008, 11:59 AM - Forum: Perpetuum Mobile - Replies (18)

It's starting to trouble me....

Even though I am currently very busy with
real work
I couldn't resist another wave of inspiration and have finished yet another new mansion.
I'll admit it.... I've got an MM habit !

Is it starting to bore you already ? (The new mansions, I mean)

I hope not.

My latest one is called
Perpetuum Mobile
and for those of you who do not speak Latin, a perpetuum mobile is a construction that is continually moving without external energy. Endlessly moving and thereby creating its own energy to move, so to speak.

Well, in this mansion Jack is going on another one of those
underground missions
and in this cave system he happens to come across several perpetuum mobiles, right from the start. Central to the cave system is a bigger one, which is quite challenging, but there are also a few conventional underground palaces and other stuff. It's pretty tough, though.... 8-)

Expect release in about 2 weeks, it's finished, but not yet tested.
Maybe it'll even be release no. 100.....

  Help with School MM project
Posted by: sherryl199 - 10-07-2008, 01:46 PM - Forum: MM1 Talk (Mac only) - Replies (5)

Hi -I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place - couldn't figure where it should go. My grandson, Grayson, is using MM as a topic for a quarterly speech at school. It's a short presentation - he's telling about MM, the origins of the game, the MM forums and where everyone is from, the basics of the game, etc. and how he enjoys building mansions. At the end he wants to give a demonstration of a 2 room castle he designed that include all the elements of the game. When he tries to play the castle he gets the attached error message. He's made lots of mansions, and this hasn't happened before. He sent it to me, and I can't play it either - although I can open the mansion and look at it. Any ideas? The presentation is on Thursday. Thank you.

  Sudoku puzzle
Posted by: Semi-Native - 10-06-2008, 04:21 PM - Forum: Octopus Mansion / hard - Replies (4)

The complexity of this mansion is truly astounding. What a fantastic design.

But the Sudoku puzzle will probably drive me insane. I'm determined to figure it out, though, probably with a little help from my husband. He's a big fan of these puzzles, but I've never attempted them... until now.

Wish me luck!
I am having a lot of fun in Daedalus. A lot of very very original rooms. Stunning design. Really brilliant work.

Surcouf, please tell me if I am doing it reasonable or not.

On the attached image you can see that my Jack has a blue key. Now, I wonder if there isn't a JS here, when Jack didn't glide down the pole to catch the blue key, in the room before.

Got to run. I mean, Jack has to. Because a skeleton is coming down! ;D

  Version 1.1 released
Posted by: Freddy - 10-02-2008, 03:09 PM - Forum: Daedalus - Replies (1)

The first version of this mansion was 1.0, but due to my fault there was 0.1 shown on the map and at the finish. :-[ Sorry about that.

This new version 1.1 fixes the announced Jack-stuck in room 15486.
