cds in pompom
Posted by: otg - 10-21-2008, 09:18 AM - Forum: Palais Pompomrouge - Replies (2)

Not being afraid to post, Wink I feel that I have to point out two cdConfused I found while playing pompomrouge last night

room 18302, when Jack is in the lower left, and leaves the room to the left he falls to his death since the bricks are in two layers in 18302 and three in 18301. The same thing happens in the next room, 18304, going back to 18302, for the same reason.

not fair, in my opinion Smile

 JS in PomPomRouge part 3
Posted by: Windrider - 10-19-2008, 02:35 PM - Forum: Palais Pompomrouge - Replies (15)

HI there! First, let me say that I agree that this is an AMAZING mansion. Very difficult but beautiful and interesting. For those people who are so critical...I suggest you build a mansion of your own so that you can see the amount of work that goes into such a venture. This way, you will have first hand knowledge as to how difficult it is to find all the glitches. While I understand just how frustrating it is to discover a JS or CD, these boards should be thought of as a community where constructive criticism can help fine tune a massive undertaking like designing a new mansion. And lastly, it is most important to find the positives and commend the designer for a job well done.

That having been said. I too discovered a JS (I think). Any way out of here? When I go left, I fall down into room #18502 from where I can get nowhere.Oops! Now am stuck in the upper left corner of 18502.
"Bubbles" or "Jacques' Revenge"
Posted by: leo - 10-19-2008, 10:31 AM - Forum: MM1 Talk (Mac only) - Replies (3)

Hi everyone!

I have a problem: I told you I'd work on a little mansion called
Bubbles
so you have a new mansion to play while I work on my next major thing,
Jacques Revenge
(a sequel to
Pompomrouge, which will be significantly easier than it's predecessor while offering a bit more of eye-candy). Since it seems that there's a lot of new mansions coming out (Mikee's already got three) and I am just having too much fun doing Jacques's Revenge, I am tempted to drop
Bubbles
for the time being and continue with the sequel to
Palais Pompomrouge
. But since I already announced
Bubbles
and don't want to be a killjoy, I'll leave it up to you:

Do you want
Bubbles
or
Jacques' Revenge
? You already saw a screenshot of
Bubbles
. To help you with the decision, here's a screenshot of
Jacques' Revenge" showing the starting section.
Does any one remember young Graysons's
The Vault
?

I can't seem to find where it is? Why is it not in the CM list?

Help Please.
JS in PomPomRouge part 2

leo wrote: Yikes! :o
No-one ever tried that one before! I'm gonna fix it, of course! Thanks for letting me know!

Why didn't anybody try that out before? I thought the mansion was beta tested. This is exactly what beta testers are supposed to do.

EDIT by Freddy, Administrator: brell is expressing his worryness about the quality of the betatesting, unaware of how many persons were involved and who they were.

 Nyaaaaaarghh!
Posted by: leo - 10-13-2008, 09:18 PM - Forum: Octopus Mansion / hard - Replies (8)

I LOVE this hard version of Octopus Mansion! Superb layout! It is so great that you switch a lever here and it affects an area you'll only get to years later! And it really is HARD! Great challenge!

One thing drives me nuts, though: I can't seem to figure out how to get all the money in rooms 14491 and 14492. The gold/silver-bricks never ever are the way I need them. When I stand beneath the vine in 14492, the silver bricks are off and when the silver bricks are on, I can't get to the vine! What am I missing?

Please :'( HELP!

Hi there!

I'm sorry to report a JS in the lovely new mansion. If you lose your footing in the room above room 17101, Jack will end up very stuck Smile

Regards,
