Till now, we accepted ALL of-topic stuff at Speaker's Corner. But after consultation we believe that it is OKAY to talk about the weather forecast in Belgium , but NOT OKAY to ask Windowsquestions on the boards of a mac-game or to ask irrelevant things about our nice lay-out of the boards (which was and still is under maintenance). It almost feels like mockery. :<br />

Therefor, the 2 topics <blockquote>Webdesigner's help</blockquote> and <blockquote>Help me with my firewall</blockquote> got removed completely. A 3rd one (I need money) stays, due to several interesting replies.

Designer frost made an update of this mansion. And delivered an accompanying text for the downloadpage! It is NOW available for downloading. I assume that frost will tell something on the boards about this update.

Hi all,<br />
I need some advice: I am trying out the Doldrum Dungeon (and enjoying it). I am in the maze that includes Room 17700.<br />
The changeable blocks are currently grey (not gold). I have no where to go - I think i am supposed to flip the lever in the upper right corner, but the electricity (zapper) is still on. Or, the tiles are supposed to be gold (?) but I saw no where to flip this in my travels to date (in this maze).<br />
Help appreciated.<br />

In room 17496 I jumped down to the bricks in the middle, not the bottom, thinking it went to the left. Now Jack can't get back up to the vine.<br />

Freddy, I have a suggestion for you:<br />

There is a bit that's slightly irritating, an 'omission' if you will.<br />
Whenever you make a change to the <blockquote>list of completed mansions</blockquote> (like adding the latest UD of Catacombs earlier today), you probably just edit/modify the original list (post).<br />
<br />
BUT that creates a small problem: I usually look at the date of each thread to determine if there is a new post or a reply etc., which our forum-software always indicates.<br />
<br />
However, I just now almost missed the Catacombs UD, because when you look at the date indicator of the thread <blockquote>List of completed mansions</blockquote> it looks like nothing has been added there since Dec. 23rd or so. <br />
I guess the reason is, that you simply modify the original list, and apparently the software doesn't register that.<br />
<br />
So to the casual observer (of which there are lots I assume), it seems as if there are no new mansions to download.<br />
<br />
Of course, for those who read all new posts etc., they usually find it announced there somewhere... but I'm sure we have a lot of visitors who drop by only to download new mansions.<br />
<br />
Maybe you could find a way to change the date, whenever you make a change to the <blockquote>Master list of completed mansions</blockquote>.<br />

Just an idea....  

Today, my SPoG has been released, and I'm also currently finishing the last rooms of the Discotheque.... so I decided it was about time to start a new mansion.<br />

I will not tell you too much about it now, but I'd like to announce its title:<br />

It's called  <span style="color: #ff9900;">THE MANSION FAMILY</span>.<br />

I'm sure it'll take one or two months at least.... but I simply couldn't resist the temptation to already tell you its name.

At the downloadpage, a text by designer Maniac was added about this very experimental puzzle.<br />

He starts with saying that it is NOT a real mansion. It is a matter making 2 movies!! :o 8-) Interested, go to the Downloads-topic under List of Completed Mansions.

Description: Experience the Small Palace Of Gore:  hidden caves, secret rooms, surprise routes, nasty creatures and many dangers await Jack. There are generous offerings of money and shields during the first half, which will come handy later.<br />

In some sections of the palace there might be more than one way to the same destination.....  Jack should always keep his eyes open and explore all possible routes. (Players should definitely start with the Small Palace Of Gore, before trying to visit the big Palace.) <br />

I've been playing for about three months. I beat the original mansions and would like to know where i can download new mansions. I tried the link that came with the game(<a href="http://www.midnightmansion.org">www.midnightmansion.org</a>), but it just takes me to some site that has nothing to do with Midnight Mansion. <br />
Can someone please help me?????

I finally beat Knight Mansion Hard. But I got 108% secrets. Is that normal?<br />
