Welcome!

On behalf of the Midnight Mansion Forums administrators, I like to welcome you on our boards. As you will notice, although you have registered now, it seems to be impossible to put a post on any of the forums. There is a sad reason for that. Experience learned us that weird people were putting posts on our forum which had nothing to do with our MM-game. And we really want to keep it family-friendly. It is a game for old and ... young!

When you like to start a new topic or want to reply on any post you saw on the boards, the first time you need to send an e-mail or a personal message (PM) to one of the administrators. The administrators are Anthony, Rob Seegel and Semi-Native. Please click on their names to send your message to one of them.

After receiving your message, the administrator will upgrade you from Newbie to Lost One. As soon as you got promoted, you will receive a message back that you have the permission to start posting. Please allow few days for the administrtors to reply.

The administrators will notify the users if one of them (or all) are absent. Click here to find out.

| Doldrum Dungeon help |

Hi all,
I need some advice: I am trying out the Doldrum Dungeon (and enjoying it). I am in the maze that includes Room 17700.
The changeable blocks are currently grey (not gold). I have no where to go - I think i am supposed to flip the lever in the upper right corner, but the electricity (zapper) is still on. Or, the tiles are supposed to be gold (?) but I saw no where to flip this in my travels to date (in this maze).
Help appreciated.
Thank you,
DLC :-X

In room 17496 I jumped down to the bricks in the middle, not the bottom, thinking it went to the left. Now Jack can't get back up to the vine.

:'(

Otherwise, I'm enjoying the mansion. Lots of places to go and creatures to see.

Freddy, I have a suggestion for you:

There is a bit that's slightly irritating, an 'omission' if you will.
Whenever you make a change to the
list of completed mansions
(like adding the latest UD of Catacombs earlier today), you probably just edit/modify the original list (post).

BUT that creates a small problem: I usually look at the date of each thread to determine if there is a new post or a reply etc., which our forum-software always indicates.

However, I just now almost missed the Catacombs UD, because when you look at the date indicator of the thread
List of completed mansions
it looks like nothing has been added there since Dec. 23rd or so.
I guess the reason is, that you simply modify the original list, and apparently the software doesn't register that.

So to the casual observer (of which there are lots I assume), it seems as if there are no new mansions to download.

Of course, for those who read all new posts etc., they usually find it announced there somewhere... but I'm sure we have a lot of visitors who drop by only to download new mansions.

Maybe you could find a way to change the date, whenever you make a change to the
Master list of completed mansions
.

Just an idea....

At the downloadpage, a text by designer Maniac was added about this very experimental puzzle.

He starts with saying that it is NOT a real mansion. It is a matter making 2 movies!! :o 8-) Interested, go to the Downloads-topic under List of Completed Mansions.
