Ok, this is a minor bug, but it has killed me on occasion, so I thought I'd report it.

The base of the vine must be very close to a platform for the bug to appear. To see it in action, jump onto the vine, the climb all the way to the bottom. Jack will hit the platform and
bounce
back onto the vine. Press down again, and you'll get off the vine. If, however, you press up after bouncing, you will bounce again. Press up again, and you'll fall off!

If the base of the vine is too close to a disappearing platform, and you get into this state and press up, you'll fall off the vine; this is the situation that has caused me to die by this bug.

I have braved the editor to bring you this highly complex example--a room with a vine in it.
In room 15710 of Knight Mansion (any difficulty), it is possible to jump up into the area where all the scorpions wait after pulling the switch that releases them. If you do, you can't get out; Jack is stuck.

This next applies only to Knight Mansion Hard, I think. If, after you obtain the first blue key, you go immediately to the top right and open the blue door that guards a shield and some treasure, you won't be able to get through the blue door that leads to all the other blue keys in the mansion. Stuck!

I think there was another that I was going to report, but I forgot it. But, on the plus side, I made spot #9 on the global list, which I didn't think would happen to me on any mansion, let along a hard one.
My previous post was ... talking as a designer. Now I am a player.

I don't know if other players recognize themselves in these. Too often I forget to have a look at my map(s). The best example to explain what I mean is probably Semi-Native's Sky Boxes. When I played that mansion the first time I didn't like it. Till I was aware that almost all my Jack-deaths only had to do with forgetting to look at my maps. When I played it again I really liked it. Simple conclusion: maps are NO garniture. They are there ... to use. And if you don't, they only one to blame is ...
This small mansion is now donloadable!
@ aquaMat: Maybe it is best to remove the attachment from your first post at Free Up- & Downloading asap. To avoid confusing.
Did you visit the hard Small Palace of Gore? Well, the harder and bigger Palace of Gore is now also downloadable.

Palace of Gore 1.2

Designer: aquaMat
Difficulty: Hard (to Very Hard)
Rooms: 100 rooms with 4 save pedestals

Experience the Palace Of Gore: hidden caves and secret rooms, moving sidewalks, secret passages, hidden keys for hidden doors, surprise falls and many dangers are awaiting Jack.
In some sections of the palace there might be more than one way to the same destination..... and to enter the final passage to the gold chamber, Jack must make a round-trip through the central palace and collect 5 yellow keys.

Players should definitely start with the Small Palace Of Gore, before trying to cope with the big Palace....

Where do you all get your custom avatars? Is there a good site to download them from. Do any of you make your own, and if so, how?

Thanks.
