OK, I promised I'd do this tonight, so here it is. Unfortunately, I'm exhausted from taking two exams (7 hours' worth >) and have a pounding headache, so it's missing a few things. Namely, it's missing some documentation and the source code. I'll get these packaged in when I have more time, but for now I'm going to bed. Enjoy.
Not sure where to put this...

Chase The 'Bots seems to rise a problem related to the custom-graphics mansions: shouldn't their names indicate what set of custom sprites they should be played with?

Indeed, we have the Starcraft, Dominator and Mummy sets, which their authors invited other architects to use freely for our own mansions. Aquamat just did it (cheers btw!) and now I realise: how am I supposed to remember that Chase The 'Bots is to be played with the Dominator theme?

I grant you that even with my poor memory this will probably not be an intractable problem yet. But what if there are more Custom themes and even more mansions for each theme?

Any suggestion?
Last week I made a small experimental mansion using Joe B's DOMINATOR game data (sprites, tiles, background pics).... originally I just made it for myself....(I might not like SciFi very much, but I'm really inmto robots)... but now I'll like to share it with you.

I remember Joe allowed other people to use his custom graphics, as long as they didn't release their stuff before he could release Dominator. So I hope you don't mind, Joe, that I bring this little fun mansion up, here.

And I have to stress it: most of the credit for this must go out to Joe B, who made those sweet robots and all the rest of those graphics.

CHASE THE BOTS is a pretty tuff mansion, you need to be very fast to even start it correctly...there are many unnecessary deaths and I'd like to make it into a challenge...a contest:

The point is, who can arrive at the exit with the best time, with most lives intact and all secrets and cash, ehm...batteries, found.

I'll give you 1 initial hint: as soon as you start the game, you must catch the moving platform and ecape the robot that chases you twice by jumping over him, in order to continue.

It's called CHASE THE BOTS as you are not only chased by robots, but sometimes you'll have to chase them in order to avoid them.

And remember: when playing CHASE THE BOTS it is essential that you have the Dominator game data installed !!!

Have fun.... and report yoiur times and lives here.
Dear friemds,

I want to inform you that I finished the first installment of THE MANSION FAMILY, subtitled Mind Mines.
I did that while taking a break during the testing of the Discotheque, and as it is a good deal smaller than the Discotheque, I've agreed with Freddy to release it first.
He is currently preparing it for release, but please keep in mind that he has 5 other finished mansions to prepare also, so please be patient.

But, to water your appetite, here's the story and a screenshot.

The Mansion Family: Mind Mines Story:
Jack is leaving his modest house in the city to find luck in the hills.
He has heard about a charismatic guy who invites people to come live with him and his
family
in an underground labyrinth in the hills: the Mind Mines.

But Jack has also heard some
less friendly
stories about the man and the place:
some people in the city claim the place is long deserted, the family gone. A few voices even hint at darker things.....of creatures involved, of black magic and the family being not so nice at all...

Mind Mines is about 55 rooms or so, and does feature only very few real innovations, like Jack has to read a magic spell, and will then be able to walk several feet above the ground....but I like it very much and hope you will too.

Below you see a screenshot of part of the city.
Note: doesn't look Italian.

But he knows conjurer tricks for sure! Here comes my latest effort at making increasingly tiny mansions. Share and enjoy!
Lode Runner was a very good game. I played both the original version and the championship version on my Apple IIc and made many custom levels.

Then came a sequel with all kind of new stuff, which was interesting at first but didn't really add much to the gameplay. And then there was the 3D version.

Mikee has made 3 versions of The Swiss Mansion: easy, normal and hard. Easy is now downloadable at the THREE LISTS.
