I still have trouble with the yellow-based levers and the green ones: I can't see the difference. Could you use more clearly different colours? (Not orange and green :o)

Oh, and what about a 'replay mansion' option when you lose? When there are many many custom mansions it can be tricky remembering which one you were playing, or going through long list of saved games. It's not really tricky, but still mildly annoying.

Hi Toybox,
Aren't you using the Beta Tester Tool Extra Life ? This will not end the game for you.

Oh, I meant for the normal 6-lives players once the game is out, sorry. I don't really beta-test these days :-[

Ohhhh, then yes, I agree with you. I too have found that to be a problem as well, since I forget to write down the mansions name.

In Castle Basano normal room 15899 after saving there isn't any statue of Jack as it usually are when having saved.
See post #44 in the castle Basano thread.

As testers sometimes we have to make changes in MLB aka Editor, so that we can continue testing, as certain mansions have problems that prevent us from continuing.
Some of us testers tried doing just that, but when we try to open the SAVED or PAUSED game after we made changes in MLB, a pop up appears stating that the game cannot be open because we modified the original.
So we have to start the game from the beginning & not from where we left off! In MM #1 we did not have this problem.
How can this be fixed????
Missy, this is because you are playing a built-in mansion versus a custom mansion.
If you want to be able to modify a mansion, open up
Game Data (Exp) -> Mansions
and drag the mansions you wish to test out of there, and into your Custom Mansions folder. Then use Open Mansion... to play it INSTEAD of Start Game and the built-in map screen. Then when you save, your saved games will re-open this mansion from the Custom Mansions folder, AND you can modify it with the editor without it causing problems. That's the only way to do it if you want to do it this way.

I wouldn't be horribly concerned about this. Focus on just one mansion at a time, keep up in the messages in that forum (if you can), and if you have a duplicate bug report, no big deal.
I honestly think that after Beta 2 or Beta 3, the traffic in the forums will decrease, as bugs get fixed, and the mansions become more stable.

I have a suggestion for you, Vern. In MM1, at the completion of Spider Palace, there is the storyline of Jack with all his money getting ready to build his fabulous new place. As far as I know, there's no way to skip past this, am I right?
My suggestion for MM2 would be to make it possible to skip that final scene by hitting ESC, for example. Or else make it shorter.
