Shall I start making a list of playable cm's and uploading the cm's? The list will include links to the cm's. You can then add to the list and upload some cm's, too.

By playable I mean those that work in the HD without any complications (as in your cat. 1 & 2) and those we have (slightly) altered to make them work. However, we need the authors' approve to upload the ones we may have changed.
I'm not sure how to divide the job. I'll start making a list soon of mansions that I am uploading and I suggest that you just add to that list as the uploading continues.

All right then, I guess I'll work on P-W. Skipping those done by Brell or Freddy. For now, the only modifications I'll make are those needed in category 2. These have no impact on the mansion.
In terms of notifying the mansion designers, were you planning on sending email, posting on the forum under each mansion, or PM?

I don't think we have to notify the designers unless we've had to make some changes to make the mansions run or if the mansions include custom graphics. How about we begin by uploading everything else and then decide how we contact the authors. I think e-mail is the best way since some of them haven't been around for quite a while.
I'll start uploading this weekend.
Semi-Native and Anthony, will you take care of your own mansions?

I've got a weird problem. When I try to go to the Sky Boxes download page to add the HD version, it shows me as a guest and asks me to log in or register. When I hit the log in link, it shows me as logged in (as of course I am). Re-logging in doesn't help.
Anybody have a clue?

One last thing I'm considering... I think it would be a good idea to put the zip in another zipped up archive. For example, if I was uploading The Warrior. I would have a structure something like this.
The_Warrior-HD-1.0
+ -- README.txt
+ -- The Warrior.zip
+ -- Any additional files provided by designer
The README file would be identical for every custom mansion. Just a link back to the MM HD FAQ, and perhaps a few lines on using the custom mansion as a zip file or an expanded directory.
I've noticed that sometimes designers package up additional informational files with their mansions. This way, they could continue to do that, and we'd have a consistent way of packaging things up. At any rate, this was what I was thinking of doing when uploading.
