I leave my resolution at 1280x800 pretty much all the time, and occasionally switch up, if I need it. Generally, I don't. I switched my resolution higher to see if it mattered (it didn't).
I went back and double-checked the previous releases, and none of them behave this way. The best I can say is that it has something to do with the funky screen-switching code you added in there in an attempt to fix the slowness issue.
That code appears to do some pretty strange stuff. At least once, I ended up in full screen, yet I had a small game window, that was the same size when it was windowed, anchored to the bottom-left corner.
Repeating it is as easy as the following:
- Start the game in windowed mode
- Start a mansion (Falcon Manor seems to be my go to mansion for testing for better or worse).
- Switch to full screen once the mansion is loaded.
That's it. That's all I have to do to see a screen that looks the screenshot. As I said before, If I hit Esc. and bring up the options dialog window, then I can fix it by enabling/disabling the stretch option.
