I know it's hard to the point of frustration (even I often have to repeat this jump a few times) - but trust me - it IS possible.
And at least I have constructed it in such a way that you don't lose a life if your jump isn't

wideenough (as you're catched from the vine in the room below).
As for the
resetfeature (after Jack has left and re-entered the room) this is making it extra-hard - but it also serves a point:
