I think I just found a small bug with the Mansion Builder.

I'm not sure if this is happening with anyone else but If I want to activate a moving platform with a lever and the platform is set to Doesn't move to start it completely ignores that variable where as if you set it to moving at start it doesn't move until activated. I've attached a video showing this.

Thanks
Leon

This won't make it into Beta 2, but I'll look into fixing it after that point.

Super Wink

Also there are some black bricks which act at invisible bricks, are they supposed to be there?

Can you explain what you mean? Maybe take a screenshot to show what you're talking about.

Okay, I see what you're talking about. I'm honestly not sure what the purpose of these are, but clearly they *could* be used to create invisible bridges and such.

In general, I'd avoid using them, as they're likely to be used in ways that make for mansions that don't feel
normal
but instead defy the rules of logic.

I actually had a few ideas to use those so it would work, for example, if you don't want scorpions to walk off the stairs or to limit the bird's path

8-)

Indeed, these could come in handy at times, as hidden blockers to avoid Jack-stucks or unlawful shortcuts. But then it would be easier for designers if they were visible in the Level Builder. Ah well.

Sorry !
I only now discovered your Quicktime movie.... where you show perfectly what you mean + where they are.

I always thought these were just black = blank spaces in the tile menu.... never once thought about using them.

But now that I saw this movie I could instantly think of a number of very interesting ways to use them....   8-)   Wink
