I guess the thing to do, mapman (and any others having this issue), would be to try to reproduce those results, and see if you can put your finger on what causes it to run correctly fullscreen.

I think I know what might be causing this. Everyone who is seeing the problem, are you using Spaces? I do. Go into preferences and disable spaces. Then try again. Once I do that, everything works as expected.

Also, Leon - I find I can resize without the screen size snapping back after I've done this. I thinkĀ  I saw that you'd mentioned this.

Vern, if you don't use Spaces (I think you said you didn't before), go ahead and enable it to see the result.

Update: Hmmmm... on second thought maybe it *didn't* work. That's very strange. The first time I tried it, it seemed to work for me just fine. Now, I'm seeing the same problem... back to the drawing board I guess.

Another update: I set the display settings to appear on the menu bar, and I was fiddling with them a bit (unfortunately semi-random). Occasionally, I've been able to trigger something that causes full screen to play as normal.

I would open a mansion in windowed mode, change the display from the menu bar to a different resolution, then go back to full screen mode. At least sometimes, this has cleared things up for me. Heck if I can figure out why...

Weird. I do have spaces enabled, btw. Ever since I tested with it for your last spaces-related bug, I kept it on because for the most part I like it. :-)
