  Mt. Peril Easy - 3 missing monneybags

The enclosed picture shows 4 rooms of Mt. Peril Easy. In the middle you see a ‘window’ exposing 3 moneybags.<br />

Is there anyone who may recall about how to get to them and give me a (subtile) hint? Even the message “it’s really possible” would help me, giving me the courage to go back to that spot.

Version 1.1 of this mansion for Newbies fixes a half Jack Stuck in room 16498.<br />
<br />
Have a look at the first image. Jack came back from the left with e new blue key. He did pull the lever in the upper left corner that activated the platform (up and down) but forgot to pull the other lever (to stop that 100 % zapper beam. When Jack goes up with the platfform and jumps on the floor with the 2 money bags he is locked in. And he really needs to get up with the ladder.<br />
<br />
The second image shows how the room is now. A grey door replaces the left zapper beam and a n other grey door is added in the upper left corner. The lever with the green knot opens all grey doors. Only then the moving platform may be activated.<br />
<br />
The update also contains a few small corrections to make the mansion from, in thosedays young, Chippy more fair.<br />
<br />
All active members are invited to visit The Bat House (again). Big Grin

  Two very weird things noticed during play in Sky Boxes (MM1)

My Jack had a lot of fun in your Sky Boxes, semi-native! The only room where he seriously got into troubles was the dark room 16097 (see pic 1). But at last he found the way to the lantern and the yellow key, the latter absolutely needed for further progress.<br />
<br />
Weird thing 1<br />
In the dark room is a press button that activates ‘something’ that helps Jack up and away from the bottom floor. But not for long. That ‘thing’ is a moving platform. What else? But at the turning point down-to-up Jack falls through the platform to the bottom floor. I tried to reconstruct this issue out in a test mansion but everything worked fine.<br />
<br />
Weird thing 2<br />
In room 16100 are three vines with a yellow top. Those are (supposed to be) solid. E.g. when Jack stands on the top of the middle top and jumps down to the top at the left, he will die. But the right vine …<br />

That top doesn’t work and Jack keeps on climbing although there is no room above. He disappears into eternity. More or less. When you press 10 seconds UP you may bring Jack back by pressing DOWN for 10 seconds.<br />

<span style="color: #ff0000;">@ semi-native:</span> I can fix that with bringing the top 1 tile down. Then he stops as suspected with his feet on the top (and his hat inside the score bord.  Wink Okay that I fix it?

  Sky Boxes in MM1 HD

At last I figured out why I couldn’t open Sky Boxes in MM1 HD and several other MM1 HD custom mansions. It seems that there are two different styles to present the HD-mansions.<br />
<br />
See picture with the downloads of 3 HD-mansions. Back to Square One and The Bat House are presented as ready-to-drag to the Custom Mansions folder while others like Shy Boxes (and Octopus Mansion) give a folder with a zip-file that needs to be unzipped to get the playable folder.<br />
<br />
Problem solved! But maybe we need to make a choice between the two systems. IMO ready-to-drag, but I assume that there was a reason to add the readme-file. So: Undecided<br />

<span style="color: #ff0000;">Edited:</span> I see that this post needs to be in a new topic, but I don’t have time to fix that immediately. I soon will do.

  Easy to normal?

<span style="color: #ff9933;">Hanging Gardens of Babylon</span> is announced as easy to normal, but now I more have the feeling that it is normal with a few harder spots. Like the room on the image.<br />
<br />
Jack entered the room on the grey bricks at the left. The coloured blocks didn’t bring him straight to where you see him now. From the gold block he arrives high at the vine.<br />
<br />
1. It really is possible to get the gold coins without any contact with the lady bug. But very tough.<br />
2. When Jack walks to the right a skullspider is approaching fast so he ha to take care.<br />
3. But Jack has to go to the right and back because a $ 200 bag is falling down left of the ledge. Same story. It is possible to catch that bag with a squirrel jump though not ‘easy to normal’.<br />
<br />
This room (17296) is in the third section of of HGoB. Anyone interested in risking Jack’s lifes in this room?<br />
Should we change the announced degree of difficulty?

The issues in 16704 and 16705 are fixed.<br />
<br />
I have no solution for the problem with the colour codes. For the function they have, they need to be tiny. On the other hand, the doors and keys are coloured as well. So I await if there are complaints.

Veronika is not around for the time being. Because the in 2011 mentioned Jack-stucks are still there I did the easy fixing work myself.<br />

Version 1.1 of the mansion is now dowloadable in the General Custom Mansions Area and, even faster but only for a while, at the refreshed top of the homepage.

  A stunning save point

A few days ago I played <span style="color: #ff9933;">Art minds mansion</span> again. I had a lot of fun, liked the graphics and the quotes.<br />
<br />
Room 806 was very interesting. See pics. The floor below the vine is solid. The three platforms are moving left and right. But the floor under the save pedestal as well. Very cool idea.!Getting to the save point was no problem: 4 acceptable jumps. But the way back …<br />
<br />
After landing a few times in the lava or hurrying back on the pedestal I find a good way to do it. Inspired by the starting room of Nightmare Mansion hard. Spoiler alert: ignore 2 of the 3 small platforms, only use the middle one.

  MM1 don't find saved games anymore

Since this morning my Midnight Mansion 1 doesn't find my saved games anymore. That may have to do with me changing the name of the folder with the custom mansions. See pic with the folder marked in green. Is there anyone who may tell me the original name of that folder?<br />
<br />
(It is odd that MM1 still find the custom mansions to start them from the beginning.)<br />
<br />
