YaBB 2.2 - When?
Posted by: Freddy - 09-07-2007, 08:38 PM - Forum: Forums Issues - Replies (4)

@ All MM-friends:

Since Joe was so nice to change the layout of our boards in a more customized way, it is not so obvious any more that our boards are working with a forum software called YaBB 2.1

Well, YaBB theirselves have a forum as well and today I did register over there. What did I learn so far?

1°
A post from the 31st of May 2007 from an Administrator:
The release of YaBB 2.2 is very near. Don't let the small version number change fool you. This is a HUGE release - more optimizations, more security, more spam-fighting tools, many more features, and a lot less bugs. This is the BEST YaBB ever.

It is always near, but when is it really coming? THAT is the question.

2°
Already on the 11th of November 2005 (!!) they were aware that there was a problem with replying on PMs when there are more than 3. In the new version it will be fixed.

3°
Aha!! And on the 16th of Juin 2007 the wrong counting of posts got noticed. And is fixed as well in 2.2 .

The only thing I didn't find so far is the disappearing of posts in
some
threads. But, please give me some time. Because there are ... ... 120 pages of topics about troubleshooting and 24 pages with topics about fixed bugs for version 2.2 .

That is the story so far. I like to inform you, when I know more. And when version 2.2 is available, I will ask Vern for an upgrade.

I've mentioned I'm doing a new game. Here's a VERY preliminary screenshot to wet your appetite. (Note that many things will change, including some of the graphics you see here. Some of them are quite preliminary.)

The game is a shooter, much like Galaga. Level design is being done by our very own Psychotronic. And I have an artist who is just amazing.

This is a FANTASTIC Mansion, you really have to try everything to get thru it!!! ;D

Well I have tried everything I can think of to try and exit room 15933 to the lower right, and I cannot find a way to turn the zapper off. Is this an exit? or a tease?

Please help if you can, i want to explore more of this fabulous place. :-*
Hi i'm Nick12 and this is my first post and I am happy to say my first completed mansion (Testing Mansion) will be coming soon. Smile

The mansion is designed to test your ability to avoid sprites, solve puzzles, and test basic skills. The tests are done in levels; each level is harder then the last.

Heres some screenshots from the mansion:
Command + D
Posted by: MusicCass - 09-02-2007, 10:27 AM - Forum: Hello ! - Replies (2)

I read in another post that
Command D
shows the room number. This did work, however, I was wondering what the other numbers appearing on the right side top and bottom are.

 Room 15903 (help !)
Posted by: whitbear8 - 09-02-2007, 10:18 AM - Forum: Catacombs - Replies (14)

I'm stuck! When I get to 15903, I have one red key. When I open the secret door, I pick up a blue key and another red key, still leaving me with one red key. That's enough to get me through the first normal door, but not the second. Am I missing a red key somewhere else in the mansion? I've found them in 15702 and 16702.

I wouldn't normally ask but I've played section 4 around 20 times now and it's getting frustrating :-[
