In a room there were 2 trap doors and the lever was supposed to open them. But it opened one of the grey doors. I restarted the builder. The same. I replaced the lever with a new one. The same. I restarted the builder. The same.

1) Please see pic. After Jack road the bat mobile down, he landed directly on the yellow platform and the only way off was to die.

2) Please see 2nd pic. I don't see the point of pulling the level to open the red trap door to allow the bouncing eye to drop down, when Jack leaves the room the trap door re-sets itself and Jack has to face the bouncing ball again, when he returns with the blue keys to the blue doors. IMHO, once the lever is pulled the trap doors should stay open that the bouncing eye should be gone. Just saying.

Hey,

I can't believe I never noticed this before, although it looks like the engine is just thinking for itself.

Anyway, when in the Level builder, I copied a sign in the same room (using the marque tool and holding alt), as expected, it copied over all the writing, however, I went to edit the copy and when I went to test the room, both signs were changed. So it seems that it's the exact same sign in two places.

I looked at the object ID and one said 907 and the other said 915.

Just thought I would mention it
Cheers

Hi, I've found a bug with H-triggers which can potentially cause them to activate earlier than they are meant to in some circumstances. Consider a room with

a H-trigger that will open all trap doors (can be tested with other actions, but I'm using trap doors for this example)

a trap door

any enemy that can walk out of the room

any enemy hidden with a T-trigger

If I let the enemy that is currently visible somehow die (walk out of the room, shield, etc), the H-trigger will not activate, as there is another hidden enemy (by the T-trigger) to be killed for the H-trigger to activate.

However, if I use the map and go back in-game while there are no enemies visible, the trap door WILL activate! Shouldn't the trap door activate when both the visible and hidden enemies have been killed?

This movie will help demonstrate if it sounds a little confusing. The test mansion can be found here as well.

Hi, haven't been here in a long time! I just downloaded the MM 2 demo, and from the first half-hour of what I've played, I've really enjoyed it! The new art style, original soundtrack and creative gameplay elements have really made this feel like a sequel.

My first problem is that in Mt. Peril (Easy), you can get stuck in room 16500. I came down the moving platform moving into this room, then I activated the switch to the left and quickly left the platform while it moved up. I couldn't go anywhere else from here. If I died in this room, I would restart in it… so, I'm stuck. See the attached screenshot to get a better idea of what I'm talking about.

Next, I got a minor bug which I think had to do with minimising the game window into the Dock. From what I remember, the game window was covered in black and moving the cursor inside that area would reveal a square area relative to where the cursor is. I don't know how to reproduce this unfortunately.

Lastly, I don't know if this bug has existed since MM 1. you're able to constantly use a lever switch in midair if you access it from a platform where you can reach the switch. You can jump from the position of the switch or repeatedly use the switch while in mid-air. Maybe in some rare situations this could allow for mansion exploits? I recorded an MM movie file, though it didn't save in the User Movies folder. (a demo limitation?)

I was still playing the demo, enjoying a stroll through Mt. Peril, when I encountered a message reading something like:
You have discovered 25% of this mansion. Please buy or quit now!
So... I hit the
Buy
button, but by the time I finished buying, the game had quit and I lost my progress in Mt. Peril. *I'm* not terribly bothered by re-playing one quarter of a brand-new eagerly-awaited mansion, but I think new players might expect this process to be a little more comfortable!
