Seems to be a JS though, found myself in 18696 with only two open yellow doors, and no way to get back up to the exit door... I seem to have missed one yellow key somewhere and now I'm stuck
Also, what if I hadn't skipped the yellow door in 16093? Then I would lack two yellow keys? Or are there more hidden somewhere?

On which level are you in that room? Have you done everything to get the keys?? I mean knealing, jumping etc.? Looked everywhere?

I was on the floor, beneath the exit door... I could get the yellow key from the trap door in the room to the left but I still had one too few.
Tried playing again though and found one key behind a hanging skeleton which I missed the time before, but I still think it was a JS the first time

Ollie,

since I don't know exactly which of the yellow keys you have already found, I can't give you a specific hint as to where to look.

BUT....I can assure you that there are ALL keys needed available throughout this part of the mansion !
Some of them are hidden, others are more or less visible....but they are all there.  8-)  

Otherwise nobody could have finished the mansion yet.... !!

Ah, but I have finished the mansion, after starting over from the last saving point. It was just that I only had 1 yellow key when I came to the exit door, went down on the bottom layer [which was my mistake], got the 2nd key from the room to the left, but couldn't get back up to get the third which I had forgotten before... i only could open two of the doors... and walk back and forth on the bottom floor beneath the exit Thus I think it was a JS to go down having only one yellow key
