Jack STUCK in Small Palace of Gore

Hello,

I think there is a Jack stuck in room 17100 in the top box, right side, under and above the snakes.
When Jack drops down in there I can't get him out.....maybe I'm wrong?

I am not quite sure where you are stuck. Is it by the lever? or behind the green bricks between the snakes?

Hi Rose,

Jack gets stuck..... at the top level is a snake. Jump to the right of the snake. Just below is a brick box with snakes under it.  Well, Jack can go down into that box, but he cannot get out.  I had to close the game.

When my Jack goes down with the brick into the box he dies because of the snakes being there. I have tried to make him stuck but he dies. When your Jack is stuck cant he jump up again? The brick is bound to reappear even if you cant see it.

Hummmm?  The brick did re-appear at the top level, I can't remember any snake in there,. I had Jack jumping all over the place in there......lololol maybe I was lucky for the first time and kept missing the snake???  I didn't land on any brick midway...

Give me some time, I will try again.  

Rose, is there a special way to go straight to that room number without playing the whole game again?

My Jack cant jump around. He goes all the way to the lower snakes! >

No, believe me....there's no Jack-stuck there..... it's simply a puzzle !!

But I remember even Freddy, who beta-tested SPoG back then for me, first thought he had found a JS....before he found out how the room works.

Actually I admit that it's not easy....but once you know how it works it becomes very straight-forward and, ahem, easy.   8-)

If you want more detailed help, you should tell me where EXACTLY you got stuck and what you did do to get there, and before you got there.

One hint right from the start:

Each door can be opened from two sides ...and in this case there are more than one way to solve this room.    8-)

PS  (a little later):  I have only now read your later posts to Rose (where you explain it a bit more detailed (sorry)!

If your problem really is that you fell into the snake-pit...well, I'm sorry to report, that is a trap !!  And it is designed as a trap....I thought that was obvious.....  but for the over-curious who really feel they need to

what is an obvious trap, I thought 3 snakes where enough to let them die and be reborn on safe ground and by that not get stuck !!  (You wouldn't have been so over-curious that you repeat falling into the snake pit even after you have died there 3 times, have you ???) :o

No, I didn't repeat being eaten by snakes in the pit......lololol

Ok, at the top is a snake, I jump to the right. A sinking brick takes J down into the box. In my case, I did not sink down to the snakes. I just got stuck in the box with no way out and I could not kill Jack.

Don't worry about it. I should delete this post. I haven't gone back to check it out, but I think that I run into glitches in the CM system for some reason. I have avoided that area in the next play and finished the game.

I experienced similar glitches in

The Crane

and now I have problems in

The Four Tubes

.......the other day I had no problem and last night I had a JS.

Either it is my iMac or there is a glitch problem in the CM's mechanics sometimes.

In the case of The Crane" iRock had the same experience. Then, when she went back to the game the problem went away.

I THINK THAT IT IS A TEMPORARY GLITCH and somehow the game resets itself once shut off and re-started or re-downloaded.

Let me know that you read this reply and I will delete the post if the system still allows me to.

BTW, I LOVE YOUR GAME AND WILL PLAY THE BIG ONE TODAY.

Finally, with help, finished with 85% secrets, and yes, this time I could go down to snakes, rather than being stuck in the brick box......SO THERE WAS A GLITCH. I only experience them in CM's now and then.
iRock also experienced one in

The Crane
