Question: how many secrets did you include in Section 9?

Were you on schedule at saving point 8? With $ 40.000? If so, at the end of section 9 you should have $ 45.000 and exactly 100 secrets. Jubilee again!

Short, but interesting, and your style is all over it, which is good. I got all the money in your section, but I'm still missing $50 from Section 8.

My idea was, after sections 7 + 8 have been rather hard, to make section 9 a little bit more

normal

again, and also to make it in tune with the original first few sections of Catacombs. That's why there are one or two references of those early sections in there.

When I play it I, too, have the feeling that it's rather short, but it's even one room more than what the official Catacombs guidelines demand. Maybe that impression is due to the fact that it's simply easier than the latest sections before it.

BTW, while I manage to get all the money in section 9 (obviously), I do still miss several coins from the preceding sections, too.
Although I can't say exactly from which. It might go pretty far back... 8-)

Anyway, have fun with Section 9 of Catacombs........

Hi Suzanne,

Freddy pretty much answered that one already. I just want to add that I have included exactly 10 secrets (which, as Freddy has pointed out correctly, adds to a nice 100) !

I just thought that might help you, in case you didn't have all 90 secrets of sections 1 - 8.

Thanks, AquaMat - I did NOT find all the previous secrets, so knowing there are 10 in Section 9 helps...

And I'm behind on points, too... one of these days, I'll start over and try to do the whole thing again, a bit more slowly and carefully, this time.

One of the designing rules is that each secret should be combined with money. At least 1 silver coin of $ 25. Thus, since each section contains exactly $ 5.000, after each section one is able to know if all secrets have been found!
