What has happened to my posts / ranking ???

you know that this is usually not very important to me, but I still find it very odd and a bit disturbing:

Why do I have suddenly only 182 posts next to my name, although it used to be over 400 ??!!
Also I have been

downgraded

to

Adventurer

whereas I used to be

Treasure Hunter

or something before !!!

What is the reason for that, and why has it been done without notifyin' me ?!

You are right that it doesn't REALLY matter. But when it is wrong, it is wrong. I am very very sure that I had over 800 posts and now I have 521 ... Don't know what is going on.

EDIT: I think that the total amount of posts on our boards is still okay, although I am not 100 % sure. But everybody lost tons of posts. E.g. Wingy over 500 posts! Correction: the posts aren't gone. The number of posts is wrong.

In the Admin Center of our forums I asked for a recount of

everything

, but nothing changed.

I don't have time now, but I am going to check if:
1° posts disappeared;
2° the previous OR the current amount of posts is right.

Current results of the : investigation :

Since I can't check my own posts in a reasonable way (would take me weeks), I decided to do something else. I chose 4 members who have between 10 and 20 posts. Well, in 2 cases, the amount of posts was correct. But in the 2 other ones it was wrong. Lara made 24 posts, not 19. And Spiak made 17 posts, not 11.

And now a wild guess. I have the feeling that it has to do with recently logging in. Lara and Spiak were online in the last 5 days, while Maniac and Jennerific were not.

Sounds quite logical, Freddy.... may be the reason.

Meanwhile I did something too..... while I couldn't (for the same reason as you) really count ALL my old posts, I did the next best thing: I went back to the start of our new forum and checked out some of my earliest posts (the ones I remembered having written in the very first days)....and they are all there.

While that doesn't prove anything, it does tell me that 184 posts (as I am supposed to have written NOW, when the new numbers were to be believed), simply can't be true. The figure is way too low.....

So I tend to believe that the old counts were correct, and the new ones are not.... which is supported by your investigations.

BTW, my first guess was it could have something to do with your clearing the members count from way over 500 to the 143 that are now left..... but don't ask me why. It doesn't really make sense.....

I'm not an expedition leader anymore! :'( Downgraded to treasure hunter... but I don't really care. But being orange was nicer...
