14529 - please throw me a bone
#1
It's been years since I played MMaM and I'm having fun rediscovering it with the HD version. All was going well until the infamous library. 14529 is the room Jack enters up a long ladder and there is a green key out of reach. I am on the ground floor of the left side and have pulled the lever. Now, how do I get out of there? I have looked for ladders and vines and spent an inordinate amount of time jumping around hoping to find some ghost platforms. What am I missing?

Thanks!

This is just from memory, but the lever opens up the other side. I think you go back up the ladder to the top and explore the other side. Hope this helps.

That's also what I think the lever does but I can't get back to the top of the left side! I have jumped around looking for vines, ghost platforms, and bricks, and I have looked for a ladder. I have also tried to go down and sideways. I can't get out of there! Sad

Edited to add: I made it out!

No, I gave up on that a long time ago. Smile

I'm actually quitting now. I'm in the ultimate maze and the ghost platforms are not cooperating. I simply do not have time to cross some of them. Shame since I found the map I drew eons ago of the maze, so getting through it would otherwise be easy. Sad

Oh no don't give up! Some of those platforms really need perfect timing, but it's not impossible of course

There is also a little (subtle?) trick to get a perfect timing Wink
