Beta 3 - Title Screen mansion seam
#1
I reported this to Vern a long time ago, but he did not see the same thing I see.  I am getting this on both my Intel iMac and MacBook, and I want to see if any of the other testers see the same graphical glitch.

The actual sprites for the title screen match perfectly, but in the game there is a slight difference between the top and bottom halves of the mansion that is visible.  Observer the attached screenshot.

Anyone else see the same thing on their setup?

Now that I know where it is... and if I look very closely, I can see the seam, but it's nowhere near as pronounced as in your image. I tried several different resolutions, and I saw it a bit better when took a screenshot and had to compress the size down a little.

I'd never noticed it before. Of course my eye is drawn to the moving clouds and the brighter elements in the moon and the text colors.

I thought this would be fixed when I switched the bottom image from .PNG to .jpg. I have no idea why the bottom image is darker on your systems than the top image. They're both .PNG format now. Weird. And, they're the same brightness on my system, so I don't see what you're seeing. If you re-save the bottom and top half of the images using Photoshop (saving them as .PNG) does the problem still happen?

/game data/screens/titleScreen

mansion_bottom_and_ground.png
mansion_top.png

If you open the two images using Photoshop and combine them manually, is one darker than the other on your system?

I see it, too, but like Rob, I never noticed it myself.
