Remember, we're looking for show-stopper bugs at this point. If you run into ANYTHING at all that shouldn't be in a 1.0 public release, post here!

Remember to delete your saved games from all prior versions before using this version.

Also, please post here by Wednesday even if you do NOT run into problems, to let me know what you tested, so I have a general sense of what has been tested and verified in working condition. Thanks!

Hey, it is tuesday today and how will we be able to test all mansions until tomorrow??? I am not that fast.

I'll do my best to test everything. Whew! It's a good thing I don't have a job outside the home! All I have on my plate is going to vote, and laundry.

Also, in the
Data
Folder in the
icon
view type in the finder (The first one) I would suggest cleaning it up for the final version. Along with the Mansions folder. Just nit-picky stuff.

Additionally, in the /Game Data/Mansions/ folder, there are three text notes for music and whatnot. I would suggest to be gone with them.

Thats about it for non-related game stuff, if you're being picky. Tongue

As for other things...

Tutorial:
15896 - Show behind middle vine missing.

Mount Peril Normal:
16303 - This room is meant to be dark.
15902 - Remove the lady bug on the right. It seems too hard on normal, actually.

I'e just tested the tutorial mansion and the level designer mansion and all seem pretty well (I'll check again later to make sure I haven't missed anything.

I've also added a sign to the level designer mansion explaining about the wind. If you don't want it you do not have to use it. (it's the bottom right room with the red leaves)

Castle Basano Hard:

Just a couple little minor changes.

16098 - Remove the far left lady bug and vine. Originally the spider was attracted to the lady bug, but could never get it- giving Jack time to grab the money. The lady bug attraction was removed so this doesn't work anymore.

16694 - Add a scorpion, spider, whatever. The hallway on the top seems a bit dull...

So now Jack will have to attract the mother spider, while its coming down and coming back up go up and grab the money.

16904 - Old music plays. It should still be track 6. Also in the room to the left it goes -1 with the music. I think both rooms should just stick with 0.

Below is the updated version of Castle Basano Hard, object IDs reset and preview pics deleted.

EASY / NORMAL
15100 - Old music plays - Set to 0.

This is such a minor thing in room 15100, I'm sure you wouldn't mind going in and changing that music number, Vern, in both easy and normal.

Jasperlone Mountains Easy (and possibly Normal and Hard but I haven't tested those)

I think there's a potential JS in 14897.

Descend from 14497 on the blue bat platform, having already opened the trapdoors in this room and 14697, but not those in 14897, and you will stop on the top unopened trapdoor in 14897 (see pic). Leave the room to 14898 and when you return the blue platform has gone and you are trapped in these two rooms if you haven't got 3 yellow keys to open the doors in 14899.

Ah yes, I knew about that, Mapman. I did make some changes and prevent Jack from leaving the blue platform unless he opened the trap doors and whatnot. I guess I didn't send that version to Vern yet. Oops.

Here you go, Vern, and anyone els who wants to be up-to-date. Object IDs reset, preview pics removed. I sent you the latest hard in an e-mail, and I believe it's in the game right now, so hard is all good.
