Mansion Comments: The caves and the castle

Post here for bugs / comments / suggestions for The caves and the castle. (This mansion is in the Custom Mansions folder, and you must choose Open Mansion to play it.)

Remember to mention the room number (push Command-D to see it in the upper-left corner) and difficulty (Easy Normal, Hard) you are playing.

The Grey Bat Brick on the LEFT side stays down.  If Jack ends back up on top of the ledge (due to falling or bad move), he has to leave the room to reset the LEFT brick.

Personally, the LEFT brick should be moving continuously.

Right at the Pole (right side, UPPER ledge)  If Jack stands right at the pole, under the ledge a brick drops, but Jack does not drop with it.  hmmmm  (see pic)

I think that there is NO WAY for Jack to get down from the upper ledge with the BB sign.  He has a blue key to use on the lower door & can't get down, so he used it on the 3rd upper level room & now he is missing a red key to proceed & can't.  hmmm  Maybe the red key was behind the blue door he could not get to on the lower level????

Instead of 'try not to dazzle

I think you mean not to stay there very long (dazzle means to be a flashy show-off) so it should be 'try not to dawdle

(means to leave quickly). Also, the last line

who like to eat the braves

doesn't make sense. Do you mean the trolls like to eat the brave adventurers or like to eat the adventuresome or like to eat courageous explorers?

Jack used a red key in 11679 and maybe should have used it in 11879? It seems that if you don't use the red keys in the right order, Jack can get stuck. See map pic for where he's been.

Jack can't jump up onto the moving gold brick to get the yellow key (in 11679) and so has nowhere to go.

Cheap death: tall column is not solid. Jack dies if he tries to jump on it.

Jack jumped on blue bat platform when it got to the top, and then went to get all the stuff in the middle. Well, the blue platform had gone back down and Jack was stuck.

Hmm. I cannot reproduce this. When I test the room in the builder, the black bat brick reappears in the top position when Jack dies.

Yes, that is how it is intended. When Jack lands on that edge, he must NOT go all the way down on the pole before collecting the blue key.  After collecting the key he can ride down the pole provided the brick has dropped.
