Stuck in Rm 15916;

Hi,

I'm a newbie and can't for the life of me get out of this room. Also am stuck in 17114. Can you continue the game without going through 15916? I know most all have gone far beyond this level.

When you climb down the second ladder from the right in the upper part of the screen you have to hold the jump- and right-buttons.  Jack will then jump onto the ghost platform instead of fall down. So make sure the ghost platform is active while you jump.

It's the same with 17114. You have to do a ladder jump - climb up the ladder and hold the up arrow.

The ladder jumps are smoothly getting more and more difficult in this mansion, which is a loooong tutorial, in a certain way. So be prepared! But do not hesitate to ask for hints.

Thanks for the advice but I don't know if the ghost platform is active or not. How do I find out on my Mac? I love this mansion even if it is probably way too hard for me......

Hi zipwin,

The ghost platforms appear and disappear at regular intervals. Just wait until they appear, then make your jump. Sometimes, your timing is very important!
