Jeez, whenever I make custom graphics-no matter how hard I try- I always get a white barrier around my objects!!! Your custom graphics look very good by the way.

Sam,

this
white area
problem has been discussed quite extensively in the past by JoeB. Please take a look at the old
Custom Graphics
posts and ReadMe's he has written sometime last summer......

The reason for this effect is that somewhere in your custom graphic there are some pixels (usually close to the border of the pictured object) that are not really, totally white.

BTW, we started a Matrix mansion last year but we're going to trash it cause we don't want to bump heads with you guys. The empty starter mansion I'm going to post this weekend may have some bricks (NY Brownstone, lath walls, pipes) that you could use. And NO WHITE Outlines.....

Yeah, I check for the colours to be 255, 255, and 255 but it always seems to turn out white. Anyway, I'll figure it out.

Hehe. Yes, there was a bit of white around Neo for the first bit, but I managed to get rid of it. The background of the picture that is NOT going to be in the game MUST BE white. If it's still wrong then you've obviously got the wrong shade of white.

Most of the times, I use a pixel tool and hold down Shift and make strokes to draw. And then I add the colors- which could add a bit of antialias stuff. Some of that stuff, could be off by one shade of white.

BTW: I just use the eraser tool to get rid of this extra white. It's always white, well, for default. Tongue
