Other 2D platformer games for Mac OS X?
#1
I know we've discussed this topic once before, but quite a while ago:

Does anybody know other 2D, side-scrolling platformer games for Mac OS X, that are llke Midnight Mansion or Bud Redhead ??

I'm searchin' the web time and again....only to find nothing that's even remotely as good as MM or Bud Redhead. There are a few that try to go in that direction, like SuperTux or CaveDays.....without being really as good..... but I'm sure there must be others ?!

Anybody knows anything else in the MM vein ??

Well, it was erased off my computer but I remember how fun it was. It's called Gish, where you're a ball of tar and you actually have the ability to destroy enemies and have
battles
as well as the story mode. Did I mention there's also a level designer?
Download the demo here: http://www.garagegames.com/products/40/
Official site (and custom levels): http://www.chroniclogic.com/~gishgame/index.htm

Thanks Sam,

I already played the GISH demo about a year ago..... and I liked about it, that it was a completely new idea (a tar ball...jesus!!), and also even it took ages and some twisted fingers until you learned to control that thing, it was very controllable !!

GISH is a pretty good game. My brothers where going to register it, but they didn't get around to it.

Another game by Garagegames is the BCS. I loved that, too bad the sequal is for Windows. (But hey, I'm getting an Intel!)
