Wingy, is it an Intel Mac? Maybe that has something to do with not being able to start up with anything but 10.4?

Yeah, what kind of Mac is it? There aren't many left that can boot 10.1. Mine was made in 2003 and boots at minimum 10.3!

It's an ibook g4 with 933MHz and 512 Ram. It started with 10.2, I believe. :o But I'm getting 10.4 install disks, so my mac will be back soon.

Hey Wingy, if you cannot repair your computer any longer, purchase you nevertheless the next laptop

Good news. I managed to install Mac OS 10.4. It's not quite set up yet, but it's working! And I don't want to get a new laptop... It took me 5 months of work to get it!

I don't mean my computer is up a level, but my intellagance of computers is up a level because I managed to get my computer working after lots of hard work!
