In the lower room there IS a way to continue game, although the two left grey doors are closed. I don't give a hint since the area to search is so small. Except the assurance that Jack REALLY can continue game. You will surely find it.

No, I don't think I will, I'm too dense. That, and I doubt I'll be taking that particular route again.

Maybe I need to check it gain. Did I need to understand that you did pass through room 16123 for the second time? I did NOT test that yet. But the first time surely gives no problems.

Room 16123 seems to be okay. On the top floor there are 3 grey doors. When you enter this room the first time, the 2 left doors are closed and the right one is open. There is a difference when you return later to that room. Then, the 2 right doors are closed, but the left one is open. But that doesn't lead to a Jack-stuck. What is more, play is more or less the same.

Hint: search for hidden ladders
