I have been trying to download the free demo for Redbudhead, but keep getting the one from Phenos, and it comes up like hundreds of mini pictures on my screen, cannot play it, or even see what the images are.  

Where are you getting yours from? :-?

I found BudRedhead through apple.com originally but then I bought it through http://www.phelios.com/mac/budredhead.html. I had no problem downloading it from here, or try apple.com?

Thanks for the prompt reply.  The site I originally got it from was Phelios (not Phenos), so I tried if off the Apple site, and the same thing happened.  It comes up all garbled on the screen, with tiny, tiny pictures that I can't even make out.  I am so dissapointed, cause I wanted to try it.  Now I am hesistant to even order it, since it may not work for me anyway. :-?

If anyone may have an idea as to why this is happening, I'm all Ears !!! :

PS: I have tried a few other mac download demos, and either the same thing happens or the screen goes black after I double click the game icon, and I have to restart my computer!  This sucks !

But at least MM works for me, that is the most important thing! 8-)

Hi SandyBean,

What Mac OS version are you using? Maybe you need to update?
Or try repairing permissions (go to Applications, Utilities, Disk Utility and click on repair permissions).

I never had the slightest problem with Bud RedHead.... neither with the demo nor the complete version.
It's a great game.

Try the LATEST demo version from Phelios, maybe that helps ?!

Do you use a Mac OS higher than 10.3.9 ??

Thanks Semi-Native, I was so excited to try your suggestion, I got rid of everything that was running, and I tried the repair permissions, but alas, no luck. :-[

aquaMat; I have mac OS 10.4 Tiger, and I know in the past I played the Bud Redhead demo, but that was a long time ago, and now I am having difficulties with almost all downloadable games for demos.  I did download the BRH demo for 10.4, and I'm sure it was the latest.  Something very strange is going on!  :-?
