Beta 5 - Great escape Easy

I really love this easy Great escape. It is just the two or three first rooms that are boring.

Found a JackStuck!!!
Jack had in room 16703 pulled the lever to get the golden brick. Instread of jumping from one brick to the next he fell (incomptent fingers Big Grin) and he reappeared on the left most ladder. He can climb down and up the ladder but he canät proceed!

Thanks for the comment! I designed it a long time after the other two versions, it must show somehow.

I'll take a look into that Jack-Stuck. Meanwhile, you are right that the first rooms are boring -- I may remove the first one and make Jack start in the second.

Included a cheap fix of the gold-and-silver stuck (a brick switch which resets to silver). Removed the first room in Easy and Normal, added some action in Hard.

Toybox, now I know why Jack didn't jump! It wasn't my finger playing tricks. It must be because Vern took the lever jump away! When Jack is standing on the gold brick after having pulled the lever he can't jump at all!!!!!!! The Jump keys doesn't work in this position.

Hmm... it seems to me that by removing the lever jump Vern has removed Jack's ability jump at all after pulling a lever in positions like this one.

Good thing I found a JS but bad thing is I can't go on testing the mansion until this is corrected.

He knows - it's basically the same problem ryos reported in ToP. Rose, why don't you try playing TGE as a custom mansion instead? The lever issue shouldn't apply when you play it as a custom mansion. (I tested it prior to posting this to check). Note that you'll still be stuck (as you reported already) if you die on this screen accidentally after pulling the lever.

Suspending and resuming will release the jumplock.
