I've seen that happen in some rooms of various mansions, too. I don't know what causes it. Vern, do you know the answer to this?

I am having a go at it and struggling and it also seems I just start to get the layout and Rob puts out a new version and I have to restart  Smile.  Haven't found anything that you guys haven't yet.
Sorry about that - I didn't consider the impact these rapid fire changes were having in my desire to get stuff fixed as soon as I could. I do have another update that I'm working on that makes some things easier in the last area and the vault, but I'll hold off for another day or so and play the whole thing through a few more times.

I don't think so - I've also seen that and it puzzles me. I'm not sure but it may be a game glitch.

Some more minor modifications to the mansion to address reported issues and minor things that I found. I'm starting to run into some really weird issues, where I open the mansion in the editor and it appears to be fixed, yet when I play the mansion I don't see the mods. It may or may not have something to do with the fact that I've multiple versions of the MM and the editor at this point... It's making things pretty confusing. I keep running across things I'm sure I've fixed.... hopefully that won't be the case here.

One substantial change that I forgot to give a good mention in the changes notes for area 3 (zapper section). I've gotten rid of one of the red doors (and keys). It's the key that's on the roof of the guard tower. I've replaced that key with a purple one, which you will need in order to get one of the red keys. It doesn't change things much. You're still forced to go over to the top of the guard tower. It just requires one less key.

Here's some (mostly) minor changes along with some notes.

Jimbo: as far as perfection goes... At this point I'm realistic enough to know I'm never gonna get there, but naive enough to want to keep trying. This is going to have to end at some point though. Hopefully, soon.

I'm certainly not in the same league as the rest of you guys who put these things together. Hopefully though... I brought something to the table that added something slightly different to the mix (besides good intentions Tongue ).

Okay, finally finished the hard version with 93% secrets (or 95%, I forget).

16700 BBB first paragraph:
imediately
needs another 'm'. Also, in the second sentence, should it read
Is it Gus?

15704 BBB on the bottom (after going through the red doors and sliding down the pole) second paragraph, the word
interupts
should have another 'r'

15510 Jack Stuck (see pic). Troll just pulled the lever to drop the key, but Jack is stuck between the 2 gray doors. I forgot to take the screen shot while I was playing so I took it in the MLB.

16304 I had 5 yellow keys, 1 green, 1 blue, 1 purple. I couldn't pick up the red key, so I traveled right to 16309 to use a key but had to leave the other 2 there, of course. When I got back to 16304, I jumped down to get the red key, but now Jack is stuck because the brick didn't come down for him to jump on. The lever is set to be used only once. See pic. (The reason I had the purple was because at first, I chose not to use the purple in 15102 - I didn't feel like working that hard just to get a money bag - but I eventually did so I could get rid of that key)

17099 Same key dilemma - no room to pick up both keys. It's a pain to have to travel all over the place to get rid of keys, then come back to pick up some more.

15910 BBB at bottom, 2nd paragraph -

is missing the 'l' Also, same paragraph, it should read either

That's definitely a bug in the game's engine! I'll look into it. Nice thing here is that it's easily repeatable.

Semi-Native, you mentioned you'd seen this in other mansions. Can you give any specific room numbers? When I fix this, I'd like to make sure it fixes the other spots too.

Okay, so the bug in 15703 is due to the
Action is Permanent
checkbox NOT being checked for one of the H triggers. (Specifically, the 2nd one from the top.)

So I'm confused why this checkbox is even there. Is there a legitimate situation where an H trigger's action should *not* be permanent? If so, what should happen in this case?

I'm confused why I put this checkbox on the H trigger in the first place. Any ideas?
