12893 & 12891
I have mentioned the ILLOGICAL use of a red key to open the door to p/u another red key. hmmmm. room 12891 can be avoided all together, since Jack already has a red key in his hand from room 12893. 12902 - Layer problem. see pic. Jack standing in the air. 12904 - A sound came on (like when there is something appearing) when Jack jumped off the last yellow brick on the right. 13106 - I still feel that the batmobile in this room interferes with the safe jump over the disappearing bricks. You could move it more to the right, near the water, that would solve the problem. 13704 - If Jack wants to back track to the other room he can't because the skeleton won't let him. See pic. 13703 - Layer problem. Jack standing in air. see pic Next, when Jack hitches a ride on the moving brick, the fish kills him, cheap death.

13706 - I know that you INSISTED that this bird killed my Jack in the other beta testing because he stood in the wrong spot, but to me this is a real cheap death to a new player. btw: my Jack got killed again by that bleeping bird!!!
14706 - Same as before. the yellow brick turns to a grey batmobile when it lands on the ground. - If Jack JUMPS OR WALKS to the LEFT of the pole, NOTHING HAPPENS. - BUT, if Jack WALKS off to RIGHT of the pole, the batmobile goes up so fast Jack can't jump on it. - This part is interesting. If Jack JUMPS NOT WALKS to the right of the pole. The batmobile just stays there. hmmm? 15105 - Layer problem, Jack standing in air, see pic

14302 - the vines are real stuttery.
14505 - when jack dies due to scorpion holocaust he keeps reappearing in the middle of the swarm & keeps dying, using up all his lives until all in the swarm are dead or he is dead!!! - PERHAPS the save should be BEFORE the scorpion holocaust??? 14503 - see pic. Jack is suppose to be on the level of the ladder, to go down to p/u the key. He came up from below, and jumped to high and ended up on the top ledge, now he has to go all around again. Can't you make some sort of short cut to this problem? - Jack went to back track only he can't. Why? Because NOW there is a grey brick blocking the full descent of the pole in room 14702. see pic

14492 - the blue bat brick did NOT appear until after Jack doubled back from going thru the exit door, as he saw in MLB that there is another section to the left of this room. hmmm?
Okay, so what is the point of this bat brick anyway, I mean other that going up to the place Jack came down from, only to get KILLED by that bouncing eyeball?! lololololol I could understand it appearing after he came down the ladder from the hidden section and taking Jack straight to the exit door, but just to go up to get killed, I just don't get it. Ok, I'm finished with only 70% secrets. hmmmm

I have been absent from the forums for more than 3 weeks now, therefore I can only answer these posts now. Sorry for the delay. My replies are printed in BOLD, between your comments. This is done on purpose - I wanted to include that little irregularity in the floor, and Vern has programmed it in such a fashion (as Jack can't really walk roundedsurfaces) that it looks a little as if Jack walks higher than the ground. 12904 - A sound came on (like when there is something appearing) when Jack jumped off the last yellow brick on the right. You could move it more to the right, near the water, that would solve the problem. It does (interfere) - it's intended as an extra hardship / obstacle. Missy - keep in mind that ALL of my mansions, and Trigger Island especially, as it was designed for the contest more than 2 years ago, have been checked and checked and played a thousand times before even the first public tester even has the chance to see them. So NOTHING you see is left there by accident or something. Even when the fish appears when the platform is above it, Jack can easily jump up and avoid the fish. As I said before: The bird is slow enough that Jack can spot him in time and moves to a position on the platform (left) where the bord will not reach him. Don't forget - it's a hard mansion. A cheap death - that is (for example) when you enter a room and you're immediately hit by a creature with no time to avoid it and no chance to see it coming. If Jack JUMPS NOT WALKS to the right of the pole. The batmobile just stays there. hmmm? I have programmed a return functionality, for people who need to backtrack. That is done by a hidden switchthat lets a bat-platformappear so a player can take that to get back up. This bat-platform is activated by walking into the rightmost corner of the elevator shaft bottom. I did that in such a fashion that it doesn't interfere with normal playing behaviour. What you experienced is apparently a quick launchof the return platform because your Jack is behaving a little akward (you probably wanted to find the fault, or programming bug). But there isn't such a thing - I did all this on purpose and - as I said - it won't get in the way if Jack behaves normally. I know - I have designed some of them without TOPS, for optical reasons. I am well aware that there is a downside to it - the stutterybehaviour....but I learned to live with it. Those wooden tops would ruin the underground flower garden look, plus it would give away which of the vines are mountable and which are not. Sorry about that. There is a trickto surviving all of the scorpions with one perfectly timed jump. Should you die nevertheless and be reborn, the trick is to wait (while Jack blinks) bevore you move again, and only start to move / jump in the second when all scorpions are away from Jack. The question is: WHEN did you jump? From the top of the ladder?? Or after coming up thru that grey staircase? That's not true: the blue platform appears, after Jack has stepped onto the right side of the wooden ledge that has the statue on it. That section is a bit akward, I admit that, as it offers 2 possibilities for players to discover that extra rooms to the left (and above). To allow for those 2 possibilities, I had to do it as it is now. 2. Thou shall not look into the MLB.
