Yes, but Jack has many hints of those platforms:
1. He has been in the room below.
2. The small bricks on each side of the platforms to warn and remind him of the danger.

HARD

brell, were you in a sadistic mood when you designed the hard version? I gave up. Well, I was going to try to make it to the end, but then the game froze and I had to force quit. It was a looooonnnngggg way back to the one and only Save I had reached, so I'm dropping it, at least for now.

It would be easier to list the rooms I thought were not too hard rather than the other way around. I think you should go through it room by room, make some jumps easier, slow the critters down and eliminate some, and so on. You want people to play your mansion, but as it is, I think most will give up.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good challenge, but this one wasn't fun for me. Sorry.

Semi-Native, I'm sorry if you find the hard version too hard. I have removed one spider, that was perhaps too much for Jack to avoid. Maybe I should add a little gold to grant an extra life or add a saving point or two?

Please note that everything is NOT as it meets the eye:

1. In room 12079, you should not need to take the upper and much harder route back - unless Jack loses his blue bat platform, which can only happen if he steps off it or gets himself killed while riding it on the way back.

2. A jump is not always needed between bricks in room 12281.

I will think about it and decide before second release from now. Vern will release the 3. update this weekend and I want more time before I make such changes to the hard version.

Yes, he can - in BOTH instances!  Just let Jack take a few armlifts!  This feature has been known for quite a time now.
