14898 (normal) - the first time I played the level I arrived in this room without a yellow key, and got stuck on the middle left after I pulled the lever and stopped the moving blocks.  Without a yellow key, I had no way to leave the room to reset the lever and since it is a single-use lever (for lack of a better term), I couldn't get the blocks moving again.

14299 (normal) - the gold blocks were showing when I walked out of the room, but when I walked back in (without having pulled any levers), the silver blocks were showing.  I thought those particular blocks weren't supposed to change unless a lever was pulled?

(By the way, I'm new here.  I'm Suzanne and I live in California.  Hi!)

Edited to attach screenshot (I hope)

Jack should be able to get back up to the vine, as he was exploring from the upper level.  The Bat-Mobiel won't let him.
Now he has to go all the way around again....NOT GOOD!

Alright, I'll move the bat platform down a bit.
Hi Anthony, I don't think you understood what I was saying.
Jack was at the top, took the vine down from the top, and could not go back up the vine as the bat brick is TO LOW.
He is forced to back track just to get back to the top of the vine.
Pls scroll to find the pic I made of this room in the original post.

I understood what you meant, don't worry Missy.

Also, please don't complain or anything about
if Jack re-enters the room he'll have to backtrack because the grey bat brick reset
; that's really the players fault, not mine. They should know it will reset if they re-enter the room.

Room 15094

Jack came into this room from the right (15095), hopped on the bat bricks going to the left and about halfway through he stopped picking up $$ (even though he stepped on the bricks with the bag or coin). After exiting to the left to
reset
the room and heading back towards the right, the same thing happened (did not pick up $$).
tried one more time and then the program quit with the following message:

Assertion failed, this program will now quit

File name: Sprite.c
Line number: 499 (unknown)
Error code: None

[sorry - i don't know how to attach screen pictures.....]

Wow, that's a pretty major error! Yes, please send me the movie file. Sent it by email please to
vern
at actionsoft [dot] com. Be sure to ZIP it first, otherwise it won't survive the transmission.

Also, in the future, please post game-related bug reports like this in the General Discussion thread. I don't read some of the mansion-specific threads very often and might miss it.

If you don't use both your green keys on the starting room, you can open a bonus section in the final finishing area. However, if you use both of your green keys you find in the starting area, you can't.

Tip: Use your red keys!
I don't like the mismatch of keys. Maybe in a very difficult mansion but not in a normal mansion  [smiley=angry.gif]

I just have a few pointers but they are already mentioned by other testers.

It will be interesting testing an easy and a hard version too. Smile

I believe this was also the case in even easy mansions in the original game. As long as the player thinks ahead and doesn't use up all the keys unnecessarily, a bonus at the end is up for grabs.

FYI, the assertion error in Sprite.c line 499 should now be fixed in beta 3.
