Mansion Comments: Jasperlone Mountains

Here, Missy, you're meant to ride the yellow platform down to the room below (*cough* ... where you may find a way to get to that shield... *cough* Wink ) and you're not meant to be able to use the yellow platform to reach the lower-left place.

Yep, if the platform just stops, just re-enter the room, no biggy.

If you're looking for a way to that shield, pay close attention to finding a grey bat platform behind some pillars, in the lower areas!

Are you talking about Room 14898 (pic in my post below?)
If yes, I was glad that the yellow bricks were moving so that Jack could get off that grey bat brick, otherwise he would have been stuck.
Jack got the shield way before the bat brick, using the yellow moving bricks. But, if there are bat bricks on the lower levels, then what is the purpose of the bat brick coming down from way up top? And then just freezing there? hmmmm?

Do you mean Room 15097, pic below?
If yes.....Jack did ride it all the way to the bottom.....then back up, then he used it to jump to the left where Semi & I mentioned that the yellow moving brick was to short for that jump to the left.
Then you posted that we were NOT to use it for that purpose? Now I am more confused than ever! Big Grin ;D Big Grin

Normal: Rooms 15096, 15097, 15098

Anthony,

I just went back to Room 15097 with the yellow moving platform with the lever, that we are saying is to short to jump left to Room 15096.

There is no other way to get to Room 15096 unless we use that short yellow moving platform with the lever on it.

You can't get to Room 15097 from the room 15098 on the right.

Since that yellow platform is the only way to get to Room 15096, we do have to use it & it is to short.

Pls type the room # when you are replying, as I am getting really confused.

When you're trying to get that purple key in the room 15096, you have to come in from the bottom left in 15097. To get to the bottom-left in 15097, you should come in from the bottom of 15098.

I did not intend you to jump from the yellow platform to the bottom-left area in 15097.

There is a bug preventing you from getting to 15098 which you use to get to the purple key. Remember when you're taking that other grey bat platform down and it got hit by one of those platforms in room 14898? That's not meant to happen.

Don't worry, next patch (I hear rumours this of it being this weekend) this shall all be fixed.

I hope that clears a few things up. Smile

Hi Semi.....my hat goes off to you testing this mansion with such ease! Wink

I have my heart pounding with
oh no's
lololol Just when I think that I am going to get lost with all these pathways, they seem to tie in together.

Anthony, thank you for the explanation. If you are the designer of this mansion.....WOW! Such Creativity. I am still going thru it. Can't find anything that Semi hasn't already posted so far. But what a mansion!!!
If you don't hear from me again, then all is well.

Normal:  Room 14910

Jack Stuck

From the very top of the roof, to the room in the pic.  He just re-appears in the same room.  Now I have to do the entire section all over again from the last save in the mountain on the other side.
Darn, there should have been a save past the purple door.

Pic of site map. No room number.

See the blue door on the left. Jack had a blue & yellow key so he opened the doors on the right. Now he can't go thru this blue door to p/u a yellow & blue key.

btw: it doesn't look like he even needs them, as he is down at the exit level. But it would have been nice to explore that area. Perhaps a sign indicating to open the left blue door 1st???
That would mean that he still has a yellow key left over?
hmmmmm

Anyway, Jack is short 1 green key for the doors at the exit level. hmmmm??? Jack has not gone thru the exit yet, still looking for that 2nd green key.

Yes, I'm aware of this issue, and it shall be fixed -- what I will do is the yellow door will be first with a blue door behind it, instead of blue then yellow, so you must get the yellow key first by completing the section.

In Jasperlone, it is designed that you must find two green keys and two red ones. There are only a couple green keys in the whole mansion, and the two main ones are at opposite places! So if you found one in the mountain area... maybe the castle would be advisable to look?

I'm sure you've seen the red keys somewhere, you have to open doors from both sides of the mansion.
