Post here for bugs / comments / suggestions for Trigger Island. (This mansion is in the Custom Mansions folder. You must choose Open Mansion to play it.)
Remember to mention the room number (push Command-D to see it in the upper-left corner) and difficulty (Easy Normal, Hard) you are playing.
If Jack forgets to get the green key in 12902 and travels right to the Save point in 12904 or beyond, he can't get back and is stuck. An easy fix would be to arrange the disappearing blocks around the Save point so he can jump on them to get back.
In 12894, as Jack is traveling across the water, a skeleton fish jumps on and kills him. He can't see it beforehand, so it's a certain death, or use of a shield.
In 14696, the vine jump from the shorter vine to the longer one (to get down to the ground) is really hard.
Thanks for all the reports so far, Semi-Native. I have an update of Trigger Island from AquaMat that contains extensive changes, so go ahead and hold off further testing on this mansion for now, as I didn't get this updated version into Beta 1. I'm not sure if any of the issues you found are in his updated version -- they still may be -- but let me get the updated version into your hands before you continue testing.
for your efforts so far - as usual you are a good tester.
First, I was a bit surprised at some of the things you reported, though....until I realised that it couldn't be the latest version you are referring to.
As Vern has already guessed - several of the issues you reported are fixed since quite some time.
I have only learned a few days ago - by looking in the forum - that there is a public beta testing going on.
So (only a few days ago) I did send Vern my latest TI update - which is from January 2010..... so you are probably referring to a version that is from ca. mid-2009 or something.
Thanks anyway - and I'm looking forward on your findings when you play the January update (while I'm currently working on another one that will go out to Vern on Sunday).

This phenomenon - which sometimes occurs in both, the original MM and the Expansion version - is apparently due to a bug.
We have witnessed this in several mansions already and I have even witnessed it during building to appear only periodically - meaning, I have put up a BBB in room X in mansion ABC and it always used to work during the first 4 months of building/playing..... suddenly it doesn't work anymore - but only for a day or so, then everything is back to normal. One month later it might happen again....etc.
If you run across a BBB that doesn't seem to be working, fairly consistently, definitely let me know! It's very hard to fix something I can't duplicate, but if I can manage to duplicate it, I'll definitely look into it!
Also -- AquaMat won't be able to update his mansion for 2-4 weeks, starting this Wednesday. Therefore, I'm attacking his updated mansion NOW, so you can start testing it immediately, and get him feedback while he's still able to make changes. Please make testing this mansion a priority until Tuesday!
