I've attached my first playthrough of Blackheart Keep Normal. I haven't played any MM in a while, so some of the deaths are pretty much something you can chalk up to rustiness. Some of them though are because of jumps that are probably a tad too precise for a
normal
mode mansion. The optional bonus paths are okay, it's just the ones that are required to progress in the mansion that should maybe be simplified a bit.
I'll try to give more specific feedback on the mansion later, but hopefully the attached video is helpful.
I just finished to play Blackheart Keep Normal, I like it and I didn't found any bugs.
Just 2 notes:
- in room 16305 the first green column is not solid when you try to jump ON it. I don't know if it is a mistake or not.
- It is possible to finish the game without open all the doors (see picture 6)... I would prefer it was necessary to open all the doors before reaching the treasure.

I will be fixing bugs in Blackheart Keep, as Jacob designed it but doesn't have much time. Can you explain more *which* doors you can avoid opening, and still get all of the treasure? Can you give specific room numbers?
margherita, I just checked, and you got the max score in Blackheart Keep Normal. So I'm really curious now what doors you didn't open? Because you DID get *all* the treasure.
Hi Vern, I have not explained well.
I didn't find ALL the trasure in my first attempt
In my first play I didn't find the blue key (1), didn't open the door (2), can't catch the yellow key. In this case I missed the coin behind yellow door (3) but I finished the game reaching the main treasure room (4).
It is not a bug, I just tell you my opinion: I prefer when I HAVE to open all the door before finish a castle.
I found a short cut in both modes that bears consideration.
The BLUE key located in the room below this one can be p/u simply by falling off the bricks in this room. This avoids Jack from even going to that area to play, as he already has the blue key. I accomplished this move in both modes.
