About Luris
#21
I wonder if anyone has managed a fourth save. I seem to be unable to land on the top of the pedestal and keep sliding down the poles . Is this save just a 'trick'.

Olle you have created a really fun mansion , well done and thanks.

we
, my gf AK has been designing about half of the rooms, especially those with moving enemies and money bags Smile

It's a real save, but you can't just walk down the ladder

I thought I consider myself a pretty accomplished player, but I really have to admit I'm having problems with Luris.  :o

It's one of those mansions that is so hard that there's a great danger of me becoming disinterested before I even make a considerable progress.

Maybe you should have handed out a few extra lives (by including a lot of extra money bags) in the first room, so one doesn't have to restart that often before even getting to the first save.

That is an idea,
since (I think) it gets a bit easier after the first save.
[It would be a shame if people didn't want to play it....]

Good to get so much feedback too, one gets a bit blind after the 100th test of the first room... I sure know how to get to the first save without dying, but I've been trying and testing for almost half a year Smile

I'm currently playing it through [a lot easier when I know what to do in each room before entering it... Smile] and it seems I have an excess of lives in the middle part, and after that it gets a bit harder again.
Not impossible, of course, just harder, mostly as in
think before you do anything

I would love to have a save pedestal in each room with a lot of extra lives. [smiley=engel017.gif]

Woah, you've been working at this for half a year?

well... not constantly... Smile but the embryo was formed last fall, with long periods of no building, and periods of small changes while beta testing were in progress

It takes time to be creative in each room... not that we've been in all of the rooms, but still Smile

Hey Olle- nevermind. I guess it's just the way the builder puts the sprites vs tiles and which row you put them. (I was referring to how the lever was hidden in the first room. My mistake, I thought they were in the same layer Tongue )

ah... the sprites are in all layers [or more like layer independent] and we didn't mean to hide the lever in the first place... it just disappeared Smile But it was a nice feature so we used it

In Room 13302;

Not sure if this is a JS, or my Jack has too much curiosity for his own good, but we could not get out of this little situation, and had to forfeit our progress and start again from the last save pedestal !   :-[

This mansion has been well thought out with escape routes where ever needed, (maybe just hard to find), so I am thinking my Jack couldn't find it?

thanks,

PS: OTG and AK, thanks so much for building this mansion, it has been my 'afternoon treat' every day since you released it!
