Toybox, I like your suggestion. I have also been confused by Open mansion wording.
Or isn't it better to say Start custom mansion?
And instead of Open game say Open saved game.

I think the

Open Mansion

option (or whatever it is going to be) should be in grey and if you try to click it (before registering) it will tell you you have to buy the game. Having it not there and then there could make the player not realize that this feature is there.

You know, I never actually understood what the reserved input on the zapper nodes does. Does anyone know what it's used for?

What exactly are you getting all worked up about there, Missy? Designers disregarding tester's input? When it all comes down to it, people say their opinion to what they think changes should be made, but really the designers to decide to make changes as they see fit. Beta testers are not designers, they just give their input and we take it in.

Don't get me wrong, I have read EVERY post towards my mansions and taken 90%+ of all advice put out there about my mansions. I don't see what the issue is. Please enlighten me. If you're upset that some of your input wasn't heard, then you're in that 10%.

And watch your use of His name here and use of caps or I may have to ban you for a day or two, which I don't want to do.

To add to what Anthony said, as a reminder, The Caves and the Castle and Trigger Island are custom mansions, and designers of custom mansions are not obligated to follow the same rules as those for the included mansions.

You have to take that into consideration when a designer decides not to take your suggestions. It's not personal or an insult to you, it's just his or her choice.

They have been quick to fix real problems with their mansions that have interfered with game play.

I don't know. Maybe it's reserved for some future input? Just a guess.

I don't know if this has ever been brought up, but Vern, would it be possible to learn how much money there is to be had in each mansion, at the end of the game? That way the player would know how well they did not only with secrets, but also with finding all the money.
