I agree with Josephine. Nobody has said that Ollie should not make an easier version. All that SandyBean did was to point out that it is totally up to builders how easy or hard their mansions are and whether they make more than one version.
There is nothing wrong with Ollie's Luris. It is just a very hard mansion which means that it is not for all MM players. It is totally up to Ollie whether he makes an easier version or not.

Oh......I'm sorry that my friend & I misunderstood everyone's comments AFTER OLLE POSTED:
otg wrote: I have therefore made the Luris Edu [as in educational version ] which I soon will send to the admins.
I hope this will get some players to reconsider their choice of leaving Luris unfinished.
Rather than everyone saying.....Yeah, Thank You SO MUCH. We read......

I do not feel it is the designers responsibility to create a mansion that pleases all people at all times.
For those less experienced players, stick to the easy/med mansions, but don't try and make a designer conform to your level of skill.
And after that post, & others agreeing also.....again, rather than just saying, Yeah, and Thank You SO MUCH!
We know that no one has to do anything.... but it was offered, and after the offer was made, rather than being grateful & stating as such, .....well.....that is the reason my friend & I took it as complaining.
Our apologies.......
and to Olle we say Yeah, Thank You SO VERY, VERY, MUCH!!!" [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif] [smiley=dankk2.gif]

Dear Missy,
First of all, I don't understand why you in particular are telling everyone to Chill out?
It was your recent post in the topic 'about Luris' when you quoted Six whole members, recounting their 'complaints' that prompted me to reply with my post of creative license and any mansion is a gift to us. You actually even quoted me, saying how many tries it took for me to get through the first room, yet did not seem to comprehend that this was not a complaint at all, just a side comment.
It seems to me that you have been the instigator by stating that We All complain that it is to hard and or don't want to play it and now you are the one also telling us to chill out ??? [smiley=huh.gif]
You may not be aware of this, but there are over 350 people playing MM, so when you say all of us are complaining, you need to look at the numbers a bit closer. You also go on to state in the topic 'about Luris' But if the experts are giving up then, hmmmm, how many players would be left to play/enjoy the game??? Do you know how many 'so called experts' have given up? I don't yet consider myself an 'expert' in MM, but have been enjoying the challenges and learning experiences of this particular mansion greatly.
Looking back over the posts in the topic 'about Luris' it seems apparent that you are the one most impatient with any rooms you cannot solve quickly or easily, and also if you do not get help instantly. The beauty of a mansion is that is to be enjoyed and languished in, not simply done and checked off the list.
Again, just my thoughts, but I think you need to take your own 'chill pill'.

SandyBean, did you not read the 1st line of my upper post???
An apology isn't enough?
And btw: why even bring up the long creative license in the 1st place, especially after the creator himself offered to place more saves and or monies on a separate play? More or less, if they can't play it tough! Nice, real nice.
I am chillaxed.....I am actually laughing very hard right now.
To go on with this would just spoil my mood....and I won't allow that.
Have a good one?

I really enjoyed the mansion AND I am really grateful when a designer works hard for our benefit and enjoyment.
I think this mansion is a winner as it seems to have generated the most discussion I have seen in some time .
I have been planning an old athens town mansion but wonder if difficult is not what anyone wants!
Well done again Olle

I agree with Semi-Native, Bo Peep, Brell and Josephine, and obviously OTG, not to mention all the players out there enjoying Luris!
Difficult is good, it gets our Jacks' to improve their skills, precision and problem solving abilities. It keeps us engaged and trying new things.

I hope no one stops making difficult mansions for us to play in just because someone does not enjoy a good challenge. Hints and help are always available in our caring and supportive forum.

Indeed, and that's why AK and I [people seem to forget that Luris was made by two persons...] decided not to launch an easier version of Luris, since the whole point of the mansion is that each room is a puzzle, and that it should be a challenge even for the most experienced players.
There will be more mansions from me [and us] in the future, which will be both easier and at the same level
Thanx everyone for the fine words about Luris, we did put a lot of time into many of the rooms and it's nice to see that people enjoy playing it

Trying to share the blame, Olle? Bad boyfriend! ;D
Joking, of course. Clearly AK is a clever girl. I'm looking forward to the next OtG/AK mansion.
