Let's say for a second you passed the closed grey door from right to left, as indicated in your image.... now you are on the left side of the closed grey door and you think you can't go back.
This is wrong: I have built in a hidden floor switch left of the door just for this case. When Jack walks over it, the hidden switch opens all closed grey doors....BUT ONLY if they haven't been opened before.
So a player who's playing as intended (= opening the grey door BEFORE walking thru it, by pulling the lever) he won't even notice the brick switch as it doesn't have any effect for him.
Edit: now I have read your post again, and apparently you are aware of this, but say you couldn't get thru the 2nd grey door.
This is strange.... as far as I remember I have set it so that both grey doors will be opened by the

issue, however....it isn't an issue really....as from the very first (beta-)release version on I have buolt in a security mechanism that only comes in effect when this happens.
(Actually it's a
bugin the game, that Jack can pass closed grey doors, if they are designed at the edge of a room.)
