I really don't know if the images can be replaced by others. E.g. keeping the new look for the folders and adding something completely else to show the difference between new and old posts. Although no orange circles, IMO. Maybe Joe will later find an answer on that question. Anyway, I do hope so.

new or not new postsneeded to be changed together. So, it is either the 2.1- or the 2.2-look. I prefer the new 2.2-look, but I must agree with e.g. aquaMat that it has an important disadvantage. Whith the 2.1-style, when scrolling down the whole MMF, one sees IMMEDIATELY where the new posts are. While with the 2.2, one has to stop scrolling a few times, to be able to know if there are new posts.
