the purple key. During that particular game, before the JS happened, I didn't see no purple key in this area (I took a different path....I remember last time I arrived at the purple ddor and DID HAVE a purple key. But not this time....)

The JS being an illusion:
I had to look up in the editor what you meant....  OK, there's a tiny bit of _____ there, but how am I supposed to know that ?  Also when I tried to jump there, I still died.... it takes quite some skill to land exactly on that bit of ____.  Once you know exactly where it is, it gets a bit easier though.

1. There is no way for you to enter and leave this room without seeing a purple key.
2. You have entered this room from below. Why didn't you check your map instead of the editor?
