Since update 1 of Midnight Mazes and Monsters there are now several brown blackboards in the mansion. Among them, there are 12 BBBs standing at the checkpoints, to tell you what the highest amount of secrets and dollars is, that you could have at that point. If you are missing secrets or dollars you can't finish this mansion with 100 % secrets and the big jackpot of $ 500.000 unless you go back to search for what you are missing. Restarting at a previous saving point is a good option as well. But keep in mind that there is NO LINK between checkpoints and saving points.
