I'm doing some testing on my own machine to verify the changes are OK. One of the plugins checks against stopforumspam automatically.
dubiousaccounts register successfully. Only a relatively small number require admin validation. I've only been checking against stopforumspam.com. I check the IP first, and if that gets no hits, I check the email address.
