Before you delete it, can you start it up again, and then open up Console and send me anything Midnight-Mansion related from the log?
disablethe paid-for version. Both *should* run fine on the same system with no conflicts. I'd recommend deleting and re-downloading the paid-for version. Although I'm not sure why it wouldn't startup.
